Crowned Crane

The crowned crane is a large bird native to the swamps of Dreamsong. It roosts and nests in low-hanging tree branches, and preys on fish, frogs and small mammals. Crowned cranes are aggressive birds which are known to drive intruders from their territories with loud, booming calls and powerful kicks.
