Named after my beloved Trudy (who was really my sister's dog, but still lived with us when my sister didn't). She was 14 when I went to college, and I was too busy packing to leave to give her much attention. I thought that when I came home for Thanksgiving, I would smother her in love. About two month into the school year, mom & sis came for a visit. They broke the news that a month before, Trudy had to be put down. She was old and weak... I still miss her, because I never got to say goodbye. She was "my" first dog - even though she was really sis' - and she will always have a huge place in my heart. 1993-2007 I miss you, cowgirl. <3
