Adoptable


Adoptables are small images that can be placed in forum signatures, on personal websites, or anywhere that allows HTML or BBcode.

Valenth is an adoptables site that provides such images for collection and trading.
Here, adoptables take the form of a specimen tank or "tube" when first created, and can hatch, grow, and develop into a wide variety of different creatures.

Species types available for adoption include normal animals, mythological beasts, robots, and more!

Normal-release adoptable availability changes based on the site's current storyline progression; in addition, Special, Promotional, or Limited-edition adoptables may be released for a limited time.
In addition, Cash Shop adoptables are special versions of pre-existing species sold to help pay for Valenth's server bills.

If you're looking for a specific species of adoptable that isn't currently available, a Trading Center exists where one can find previously-released adoptables, or you can keep an eye on the current storyline and check back later!


Adoptable Development

All Valenth adoptables have a total of five forms; the specimen-tank Alpha form, the juvenile Beta form, and three adult Omega forms which vary based on that adoptable's dominant Trait-- determined by the foods you and other Valenth players give it as it grows!
In addition, normal adoptables are assigned a Gender at birth; very old adoptables and contest-prize adoptables may be genderless.

There is a small chance that any adoptable created may display an Alternate color scheme; these are more prized in the trades than normal adoptables.

Itemscan be obtained which can then be used to alter certain characteristics of an adoptable; using an Alchemy Stone will prevent that adoptable from progressing to the next life stage, for example.
