Alchemy
Alchemy utilizes Valenth's latent magical energies, as well as the energies found within the plants, animals, and elemental essences found within the planet, in order to craft powerful artifacts, tools, and magical potions and elixirs.
As a rule of thumb, Magic is cast, while Alchemy is crafted.
One need not be a Mage to peform alchemy, though a strong understanding of the elements and their interaction with the world is essential.
Those who practice alchemy are called Alchemists.
