Alchemy utilizes [[Valenth Valenth's]] latent magical energies, as well as the energies found within the plants, animals, and [[Element elemental]] essences found within the planet, in order to craft powerful artifacts, tools, and [[Magic magical]] potions and elixirs.

As a rule of thumb, //Magic// is cast, while //Alchemy// is crafted.
One need not be a [[Mage]] to peform alchemy, though a strong understanding of the elements and their interaction with the world is essential.

Those who practice alchemy are called **Alchemists**.
