The Dreamwaker grinned faintly at the response to his unspoken question; his arms were folded now, gently holding a white peacock against his breast. The bird dipped his head with a soft cluck, its long tail swishing against the snowy ground.
This was part of their nightly ritual, a greeting between friends. The reply never changed-- but for now, at least, it was inconsequential.
"Perhaps," Elliot said softly, her tone even. "But then... how would you spend your evenings?"
