Of particular note in recent times is the rise of the [[Rodent chilleon]]-- a fluffy-furred mountain rodent common near the [[MimorreRidge Mimorre Ridge]].
It has become popular among Chimre's elite (and if you live above the [[Underbelly]], you //are// part of Chimre's elite) to own large numbers of the furry creatures, all the better to cuddle with them in lounge chairs during chilly nights, or allow them to accompany you en masse on your trips to the market.
Chilleon breeders and sellers insist upon high prices for the creatures, citing an extremely limited supply and a massive demand with waiting lists miles long.
