"Not allowed to have surgery. 'Not what you're looking for,'hesays. Can't turn back... potions won't work. Not alchemy, notmagic... Best scientists in the world... then why is theRoseso fucking useless?" Cazwell snarled, laying his ears back in a rage.
"It's their fault this's happened in the first place... them and theleupaks. How can a cure not exist? Why can't the fucking Dreamwaker do anything about it but give me some books?!

"Why don't they get it? Why can't they listen? I don't want to be this way!" He gritted his pointed teeth. "How often does this happen to people? No one can possibly be happy like this... someone has to put a stop to it, prevent it.
"Of course-- how could I be so stupid?"
He laughed, pressing a claw to his face as he slowly stood up, leaning against the wall. "TheFirestarters. Of course they'd understand... maybe... no. They probably can't turn me back, either. But maybe they can help me find peace. I'm not really a leupak... Maybe they can help me learn how to fight back!"

Cazwell gathered his things, ignoring the three glowing eyes staring in at him from the window as he slung his backpack over a shoulder, hurling the worthless books and pamphlets the Lord-Doctor had brought him into a nearby trashbin.

"How unfortunate, Cazwell," theWhite Boralionrumbled. "Don't do something we'll both come to regret..."
