As Ciere orbits around Degregorius much more quickly-- about four times faster -- than Valenth itself, it is often partially or completely hidden by the larger star; Ciere is in full view in February, May, August, and November.
Some early civilizations based their calendars upon Ciere's orbit rather than Valenth's.
Many [[Mage mages]] and [[Alchemy alchemists]] invoke it in their spells and [[Magic magical]] workings. Due to its color, the little star is typically associated with warmth and fire, even though Degregorius is far hotter.

**Ciere** is the smaller of [[Valenth Valenth's]] two suns; a yellow dwarf star in [[Degregorius Degregorius's]] orbit.
As Ciere orbits around Degregorius much more quickly-- about four times faster -- than Valenth itself, it is often partially or completely hidden by the larger star.
Some early civilizations based their calendars upon Ciere's orbit rather than Valenth's.
