The Fair sibe (Far seeb) or Foeh sibe (Fee seeb), "Faerie of the Fire/Faerie of the Phoenix" in Aengoch, is the spirit of a fae man or woman slain by a loved one in fire and reborn by the magic of the earth.
The AwakenedKelan Flarion is an example of this fae.
Fair sibe resemble themselves in their former lives, but with feathery orange wings and the toes of a bird of prey.
When angered, they burst into flames and their wings glow with an inner fire.
Most historical Fair sibe seek only to bring about their murderers' deaths, typically by grasping them around the neck and slowly roasting them to death, after which they devour the corpse and burn away into ash themselves.
Some people consider the Fair sibe demons because of their frightening appearance when angry, and their arguably brutal method of vengeance.
They are, however, undeniably fair folk.
