"Valenth; Pure once more!" is their motto in Aengoch, and seeing it through is their life's work; The Firestarters, Kelan Flarion's ancient order, is an army of knights, rangers and naturalists who tirelessly aim to return Valenth to its natural, untainted state.

As the most pressing threat, many Firestarters indeed focus upon the Fatis Mirajin and the anomalies it creates, purifying victims tainted by the crystal's consuming essence and removing unstable dream-beasts and hostile unnatural phenomena however they can.

However, the crystal is not the Firestarters' only concern; they also do extensive work within the wilds, tending to sick lands and endangered species of plant and animal alike, communing with spirits of nature both well-known and archaic, and slaying putrid creatures that spread corruption such as Undead and Demons.

Their work is harsh, unending and often thankless, especially in a modernized world that doesn't always understand that convenience is as much a threat to the world's health as are monsters and dream-crystals.

But regardless of how other sentients may respond to them and their deeds, the earth, seas and sky will always welcome a dedicated Firestarter home with grateful arms.

Joining the Firestarters

Founded upon aspects of ancient Aeneski tribal culture and teachings, the Firestarters exist to serve the natural world via conservation as well as a more militant approach against corruption and other aggressive threats. Of greatest concern are the Fatis Mirajin's mutagenic effect upon Valenth and all forms of necromancy, though faction members frown upon more simple issues such as waste of natural resources in the name of modern convenience.
While elves and humans make up the brunt of the faction, its ranks also include more exotic creatures such as smallfae and djinn.

The Firestarters requires 150 reputation points to join.
They are the only faction which will take reputation points away as well as reward them for feeds, so care is advised!
