Welcome to Valenth, a mad science and fantasy-themed Adoptables site with an rich world and anongoing story!
Adoptables are small, usually transparent graphics made to display in forum signatures or on your personal websites for decoration. There are many sites you can get them from; Valenth is just one of them!
All of our adoptables but one or two species a month (see Cash Shop Adoptables) are FREE to adopt!
Available species cycle in and out regularly based upon the current story, so check back often!
Missed out on a species you want? Try the Trading Center to exchange adoptables with friends!
Earn krus for feeding adoptables, collect and buy trinkets and special pets from Factions and the PetShop, and go nuts!

Your First Adoption
Registration is easy; if you're 13 or older, all you need is a valid email and a username!
Visit our Adoptions page, pick the species you like, give it a name and gender and click the button.
You'll be taken to a new page with HTML and BBCodes for your adoptable; simply copy the code you want and paste it into your signature or website and you're done!
You can access any adoptables you've adopted on the Your Adoptions page.
Remember! You can have up to five accounts at once-- and if you manage to fill your favorite account, you can buy more adoptable slots at any time!

Feeding Adoptables
Clicking on any standard-linked Valenth adoptable will take you to its profile page.
In the top left-hand corner, each profile page offers you three different food choices to give the adoptable; clicking one will feed it, which you can do for each individual adoptable once a day.
Feeding adoptables earns you Krüs which can be spent on items, accessories and special adoptables, and adjusts your Reputation with one or more Factions based upon what food you chose.

The World of Valenth
Valenth is a fantasy-steampunk world, neo-victorian with a splash of faerytale and magic in civilized areas.
Humans exist, but are only the dominant sentient species in a handful of areas-- the most prominent being Gier in South Dreamsong, the central setting of the story.
Valenth is a world undergoing metamorphosis; as common folk eke out a living the only ways they know how, the world is slowly turned upside down, and reality itself is at stake!
All of Valenth's adoptables ( with the exception of Promotional adoptables), including new releases, Limited and Special edition availability, and rotations are based on what's going on in the world at any given time.

Factions
In Valenth, Factions are powerful organizations that significantly impact the world in some capacity.
There are lots of factions in the world, but players are allowed to join four of the most influential; The Somnambulist Project, The Firestarters, The Silent Rose Organization, and The Court.
There are many reasons for choosing a particular faction, like exclusive forums and special rewards such as trinkets, backgrounds and brand new adoptable species-- but CHOOSE WISELY!
Most factions require you to win their favor before you can join-- and once you've joined one, defecting isn't easy!
Each faction grants Reputation in different ways; experiment and trade notes with friends in the Factions Lobby forum to learn more!
