The Help Directory - A Guide to Finding the Help You Need

Having trouble with a feature of the site, curious about how something works, or need assistance?
This handy guide will show you where to go to find all the answers and get the help you need!

Level 1: General Help

The FAQ Collection and the HELP! Forums

If you have any general game questions, or you've experienced something strange, try giving these forums a look.
Chances are someone else has answered your questions for you-- and if not, there are lots of friendly users who are happy to help!
This is best for simple questions and discussion of minor issues or gameplay-related concerns.

Level 2: Site Bugs, Glitches, and Error Reports

The Problems and Bugs Forum

Is something off-kilter or not working the way it should? Have you found a game-affecting glitch or a programming-related issue?

Report it in the Problems and Bugs forum-- this is a direct line between the users and the programmers who keep Valenth running!
If something is broken, your best bet is to let us know here, either by making a new thread, or finding one that matches your issue and adding your experiences!

Major fixes will be announced in news posts, while minor issues will typically have any updates and fixes noted within relevant threads in the bugs forum.

Please bear in mind that this forum is the place for programming-related issues, NOT Staff inboxes or news posts!

Level 3: Forums Cleanup, Questions, and Member Issues

Valenth Moderators

Sometimes, you may see odd behavior in the forums-- a thread may need to be locked or moved, spam may need cleaning up (and the spammer scolded!), and so on.
Moderators are employed to keep the forums tidy, friendly, and free of conflict-- feel free to PM them anytime to report trouble on the forums, or if you just need a little bit of help.

Remember-- mods can only help with member trouble visible on the forums!
Staff cannot act on conflict taking place within PMs or other private areas.

If a user is giving you a hard time, employing the block feature will keep them from contacting you or seeing your posts-- and vice versa!

Level 4: Special Services

Help Tickets

Sometimes, you may need help that the forums can't provide.
In these cases, you will be directed to fill out a Help Ticket-- a new site function that will give you a direct connection with the staff members who are perfectly equipped to help you!
These will usually be for specific situations like account functions, CSC crediting, adoptable replacements, and so on.

Please make sure to use a ticket for your queries instead of PMs-- they're the best way to get help quickly and easily!
