Immortal
An immortal is a unique being or species that cannot suffer death from old age or natural illness.
Valethian immortals can be slain by violent means, though whether such deaths are permanent remains to be seen, and specific circumstances are often necessary to kill one.
Most true dragons are immortal, as are the Beast-Gods, the Chapters, and some greater elementals.
Immortals are not to be mistaken for the undead, who have already been killed before being reanimated through unsavory means.
