Kabinx
The kabinx is a breed of domestic cat native to the rural areas of Dreamsong. They are large, stocky animals with powerful hind legs and naturally bobbed tails.Kabinx, named after the farmstead they originated from, are kept largely as pest control on farms or in warehouses. Originally bred to kill rabbits and protect a farmer's crops, kabinx are well-known for their predatory dispositions. The sight of something in flight will cause them to give chase and attack, no matter what the quarry. Their slightly longer hind legs cause them to hop and bound rather than run, allowing them to reach great speeds while in pursuit of something that has their attention.
Fiercely independent, kabinx are skilled hunters of anything smaller than they are, and certain individuals are known for subduing dogs nearly twice their size. They are a danger to any small animals or children, and cannot be left unattended with either.
As An Adoptable
The kabinx were first introduced as an adoptable in Book IV.They appear as three Special adoptables, the Blue Kabinx, the Red Kabinx, and the Calico Kabinx, purchasable through the Gier Worldwide Pet Shop for 20,000 krus apiece.
