The Reverie is the realm of dreams-- as much a mirror of true Valenth as it is its own land.
The souls of all sapient beings come here for a while in slumber, shaping pieces of it into landscapes familiar and foreign, fantastic and terrible and real all at once.
While many common folk believe dreams to be simple phantoms of the mind that come and go with sleep, the truth is far more complex than that; Reverie is a fluid place that shifts and changes with the minds of its inhabitants and visitors, but it is very real and as old as thought itself-- and while most people know it only in their dreams, Mages andmirologists know that there are other ways to reach it.
The Silent Rose Organization is, for perhaps obvious reason, extremely interested in the Reverie; it is the only faction to date with settlements there-- including the cityofLaps-Lucienne, an extradimensional twin sister ofLaps-du-Ment.
As few people on Valenth believe in its existence, even fewer know what indigenous people and creatures might live in the Reverie's infinite dreamscapes.
