An elite order of opportunistic and ambitious scientific minds, The Silent Rose Organization is the Dreamwaker's brainchild, currently based in Chimre with smaller branches located in friendly regions throughout Valenth.

To civilians, they are a mysterious entity; a company who acts for reasons unknown, but always seems to spring up in the most unlikely of places to offer a helping hand.
SRO members are taught from initiation to keep their business-- all of it, personal and company alike-- amongst themselves whenever possible, and to keep a clean face for the public at all times.

Those who fail to grasp such concepts are swiftly and cleanly removed; there is no alternative, for the Rose has far too much at stake to suffer tactless fools.

To the attentive, the merchants, the rebellious and the well-to-do, the Silent Rose are providers; much like the Sorilian chimaera, faction members and associated private agents offer goods and services that cannot be had in other places-- and often, cannot be had legally, either.
Dangerous and addictive substances, questionable weaponry, exotic beasts, stolen organs, custom-made genetically-engineered and patchwork servants, rare delicacies and extreme cosmetic alterations are among the wide range of "products" the SRO are responsible for.

To a group of powerful mad scientists such as the Silent Rose Organization, every dream is worth pursuing-- no matter how unscrupulous-- provided it provides a good living, a good source of entertainment, and a willing subject to test on... and can either be made to look good or done in secrecy, of course.

And with a hand almost everywhere business, good, bad, or otherwise, is to be had, the SRO has little to fear from those poor, paranoid souls who would speak out against it...

Joining the Silent Rose

The Silent Rose Organization began as an exclusive society for practicing scientists who valued experimental freedom and secrecy, core values that endure to this day.
Where the Somnambulists gather information and artifacts for study and display, the Silent Rose are practicing scientists in fields from medicine and genetics to robotics and elective surgery.
Rose docs are often considered the best in their fields, but the ethics of their practices are often questionable-- in their eyes, a trivial price to pay in exchange for groundbreaking scientific advancements.

Despite public belief to the contrary, the Rose is happy to accept non-scientists; they can find work for almost anyone, provided they're willing to follow SRO protocol.
