Leupak Tail Mutations

For use with the Leupak Creation Guidesheet.

Tail is prehensile, massive and powerfully muscled, used to hold the leupak aloft when seated, or to hang from graspable objects. Balancing tails larger than the main body may be slithered around on.

Tail is thick and spherical; tip may be blunted or sharp.

Leupak has multiple thin, prehensile tails which are wound around each other when not in use.

Tail ends in a miniature, non-sentient leupak which can be manipulated by the main body.

Tail ends in a flattened arrow, diamond or spade shape.

Tail ends in a flattened flipper or fin for steering during swimming or flight.

Tail ends in a functional eyestalk.

Tail is very thick, soft and segmented; it can be torn off at a segment and regrown. The removed tailpiece moves of its own accord for a while.

Tail ends in a glowing bulb.

Tail ends in a sharp hook (barbs optional).

Tail ends in a club (spikes optional).

The leupak's tail ends in a functional mouth with teeth.
The resulting secondary head cannot think for itself, has no tongueclaw or venom, and often snaps at nearby objects when the tail is not held out of the way.
Left to its own devices, it will mindlessly devour anything edible it can fit into its mouth, spitting out anything it finds bitter, painful or otherwise unpalatable.
Mawtails that are long enough are known for devouring their own primary head, killing the leupak in the process.

The tail splits into two either at the base, or at the tailtip.

Tail ends in a soft, sticky ball or pad that can attach to and lift objects.

- Sting Tail
Tail ends in a barb, claw or stinger, and can be used to administer any venoms or toxins the leupak possesses.

Tail is layered with hard, pointed scales with sharp edges.

Tail is extremely long, primarily used for slamming into or lashing at opponents.
