The Natural Trait
Adoptables displaying the natural trait are completely unaltered by Valenth's ambient energies.

The Vital Trait
Adoptables with the vital trait have been mutated into new and unusual forms by the element of Vitae.
Vital omegas may have any of a number of differences to their natural counterparts, from minor cosmetic alterations to more severe anatomical warping. The most common kinds of vital creatures are dire beasts and elementals. An adoptable fed more vital foods displays the "eager" mood.
The Tainted Trait
Adoptables with the tainted trait have been mutated into new and unusual forms by the element of Mirajin.
Tainted omegas may show any number of unusual mutations, from minor cosmetic alterations and the development of sapience, to more severe physical alterations. Mirajin mutations are often unpredictable, and tainted omegas may vary drastically from their beta form. An adoptable fed more tainted foods displays the "moody" mood.
