Deletions:
In most cases, the creation of an undead creature involves trapping and imprisoning its soul, or [[Vitae vitae]], within its corpse.
This process is incredibly traumatic, and results in the creation of //[[Morte morte]]//, a foul byproduct of such techniques.
Undead are doomed to "live" until their corpse is completely destroyed and the soul is purified; for example, [[Zombie zombies]] and ghouls are notorious for rising again as skeletons if the flesh is burned away by normal fire, and once again as [[Ghost poltergeists]] if the bones are shattered and destroyed.
This accursed persistence makes the undead extremely attractive to those with no qualms against employing them.
