Valenth - The Story
Thousands of years ago, an elven alchemist created a powerful Artifact by mistake.
This alchemical crystal, called the Fatis Mirajin, transformed everything around it--
The elf, his two greatest friends, his tribe...
... and in time, even Valenth itself.
Now, four powerful Factions struggle for dominance in a magical world whose ultimate fate rests in the hands of the victors.
Valenth - The Website
Welcome to Valenth, a mad science, steampunk, and fantasy-themed Adoptables site with anongoing story, optional Roleplay elements and many more features to come!
Adoptables are small, usually transparent graphics made to display in forum signatures or on your personal websites for decoration. There are many sites you can get them from; Valenth is only one of them.
All of our adoptables but two species a month (see Cash Shop Adoptables)) are FREE to adopt, and you don't need to register an Account to pick up a few (though we do reccomend you do so)!
If you choose to register, you can take part in the entire website, earn krüs-- our currency -- , buy items and accessories to use on your stored adoptables, and even adopt rare species you can't get any other way!
A Note Regarding Content
While many adoptable sites are geared towards younger audiences, Valenth is better-suited towards teens and up; more mature themes such as violence, alternate sexuality and drug use may appear in Valenth's storylines and settings, along with occasional strong language.
For this reason, we ask that parents first look at the site and determine whether they find it suitable for their younger children.
We adopt a PG-13 rating and stance for our website, and moderate all forums content to adhere to it as well.
Valenth - The Planet
Valenth is a mid-sized planet in the Twin Dancers planetary system.
It has a small, black moon--Chira, "little bat"-- and two suns, from which the system draws its name; tiny, yellow Ciere, and the much larger, blue Degregorius.
Life on Valenth varies widely, from common animals and intelligent humanoid races, to more fantastic creatures such as Faeries, Dragons and wandering spirits and Elementals.
As a whole, the world is a great mash of natural forces, rampant and wild magics, and all manner of steam-science contraptions.
Valenth's prevalent races are often divided regionally; the fastest species to evolve and develop socially tend to spread across an area and eventually claim it as their own.
Whether higher powers truly exist is up for debate-- in all recorded cases to date, revered "deities" are often corporeal beings in some form or another, such as powerful dragons, Beast-Gods, or Chapters, for example (though many would argue that these sources are still greatly influential upon their followers).
For this reason, large, organized groups and their leaders-- known as Factions-- collectively hold more power over the known world than any other source.
