Leupak Venom Modifiers
For use with the Leupak Creation Guidesheet.
Leupak venom comes in all colors including metallic, and can be opaque, transparent or iridescent.
Standard
leupak venom is a thick, viscous and slimy liquid, injected into a target with the tongueclaw or chewed in with the teeth.
This venom eats through living tissues and damages internal organs, losing its mutagenic and healing properties.
This venom is absorbed into the body on contact with the skin, allowing the leupak to poison or mutate creatures simply by spitting it.
This venom has no numbing or healing properties; it causes severe pain in small doses.
In larger doses, it causes mutation into a leupak-- but the victim's form will be based upon its greatest fears if the transformation is allowed to complete.
This toxin is non-mutagenic; instead, it is full of tiny, roe-sized leupak eggs that behave like normal, full-size eggs when the toxin is injected into a host, eventually growing and eating their way out of the host.
This venom does not work at all on living creatures; it instead enchants inanimate objects, turning them into animate leupak-shaped constructs for a few minutes; they become inanimate again after the effect wears off, after which the venom will never work on that specific object again.
This venom has a scent and flavor resembling a specific sort of food, making it easier to stomach or slip into drinks, foods or potions.
This venom is full of tiny bubbles; it requires twice the standard dose for the same effect, but also has double the volume, making it useful to avoid overdosage for medicinal uses.
This venom glows, either constantly or in certain situations (in the dark, at a certain temperature, etc).
Hallucinogenic miratoxin causes the victim's world to seem to suddenly warp and change around them as it begins to take effect instead of the usual healing properties of smaller dosages.
When the victim is frightened, they experience terrifying visions, while a calm person would experience pleasant or simply odd ones.
This leupak's venom is extremely potent-- instead of mutating a victim normally at the proper dosage, it behaves as an overdose instead, typically destroying the vital organs or causing the victim to burst.
When exposed to air, this miratoxin comes to life, attempting to crawl over and into the mouth and nostrils of a target. If there is no target, it simply oozes mindlessly about until it dries.
It can sense people up to ten feet away, but will not attack other leupaks.

Numbing Toxin
This miratoxin's pain-numbing effect is more pronounced, making it useful for surgical procedures, though larger doses will cause the target to lose all feeling in the body for a while.
This venom's effects are milder than usual, taking twice the usual dosage for the same effects.
This venom has a large amount of morte mixed into it; instead of turning creatures into normal leupaks, they become undead ones if the mutation is allowed to run its course.
Creatures poisoned with this venom contract a slow flesh-rotting disease even if the mutagen is neutralized.
This venom calms a victim in low doses, putting it to sleep in higher ones prior to mutation.
This venom is a fluid with the viscosity (or lack thereof) of water; it has less volume than normal venom, and requires half as much for the same effects.
