The Facet

Concept: Innocence (Purity in Mind and Soul)
Facet Type: Glow Facet combined with Shaped and Morphing Facet: The crystalline opaque white facet in the shape of a closed rose bloom on the Leupak’s forehead pulses in a white glow while the morphing ability is not in use. When morphing the facet blossoms into a full (white) rose bloom.
Facet Power: Dream Facet (Shini uses it to banish nightmares from all kind of species’ which are able to dream)

Cosmetic Basics
Size: 2,22 m in heigth when sitting, plus tail
Body Type: Quadripedal Storybook (but graceful posturing and moving), default tail
Head Type: Default slimline on a slender neck
Ear Type: Fae Ear (long, ivory-white)
Skin Type: Porcelain Skin
Body Color/Pattern: Creamy-ivory-colored, covered with a pattern of fragile snow-white vines (floral ornamental tribal) ; mainly on the back and sides while a few single ones twine along the (fully ivory colored) tail as well as up the neck and over the face (one twines around the left eye, which is blind).
Underbelly Color/Pattern: underbelly and legs are pure white. The white vine pattern of the upper body proceeds down the legs (leaving the belly part pattern-free) onto the paws changing color to ivory where they enter the white colored body part.
Eye Type/Color: Default right eye (silvery pupil, ivory iris, white sclera), while the left eye (which is decorated by a twining vine and jewel ornaments) is blind (white).
Extra Accent Colors: Claws, pawpads, eartips and tailtip are silver
Ornaments: Wing Ornament: A pair of grazile silvery ornamental butterfly wings placed along with the functional feather wings, smaller than those (when the functional wings get spread, the ornamental butterfly ones seem to lay on top of them) / Jewel Ornament: Tiny sparkling diamonds delicately embedded in the vine pattern all over the body.

Venom Mods: Tranquilizing Poison (Shini doesn’t use it to kill, only for sedation, calming or putting to sleep), looks and flows like Quicksilver
Tongue Mutation: Snake Tongue – blinding white, long and slim, Mamba alike. Although the venom flows over the snake’s body, it also can be placed directly by the snake’s fangs (if Shini wishes so)
Spine Mutation: Silver seamed
Bonus Mutation 1: Extra pair of limbs replaced by functional feathered wings (huge, seraphically)
Bonus Mutation 2: Sylvan – capable to have real flowers (always of white color) grow and bloom inbetween the vine pattern. She uses to leave a full blossom with someone she helped, f. e. to overcome nightmares (despite the pain it causes to remove the flower from her body)
Bonus Mutation 3 (created): Armor Skin – the Leupak is enveloped in a loose falling filigree net, woven of golden colored unknown material, very thin, almost invisible, but strong enough to build a protective armor for the porcelain skin. Sometimes quicksilvery venom drops hang in there like pearls of dew in a spider’s web (can't be taken off, it's a second skin, basifixed at the spine)

Sheet provided by Mutopia Labs Inc. (Dr. Kiwiana Su, Dr. R. Graham, Prof. J. H. Kiwian). The Mutopia Labs are mainly known for their experimental researches, but also for their habit to take in creatures in need (like homeless or injured) into the place where Dr. Kiwiana's so called "Magic Mysteries" live.

Dr. Kiwiana on the presented leupak:
“While pursuing investigations on the circumstances obtaining how and where Jani* had been found, we finally got directed to an area, outside in the wilderness, where we discovered forlorn ruins of what might have been a mine once, obviously misused for some sort of genetic experiments. In there to our horror we found dead creatures, one by one, dozens of them.When we were about to giving up hope for survivors, we heard sounds from behind a buried tunnel. After we had managed for help to clear away the rubble, we stared at a cave full of sleeping beings, watched over by what seemed like a ghost to us on first sight. A ghost that smiled at us in the friendliest, halcyon way, making everyone to instantly replace “ghost” by “angel”. This was Shini’Li. By using her powers she had made the others sleep peacefully, causing a less consumption of oxygen, saving their lifes with this method. This first impression already shows her character perfectly: She only thinks about helping others, there is no evil in her, she never would hurt a fly (subsists on herbal only). And she also never has bad thoughts about others or expects any harm from them. If there is misery she cannot bear, she just forgets about it completely – and therefore wasn’t able to tell us anything about what happened in the mine.”

The Facet
Concept: Plutonium
Facet Type: Displaced (chest) Glow crystal. Bohrmol's facet is quite large, and is situated upon its breastbone. It glows with an intense inner heat.
Facet Power: Mutation

Cosmetic Basics
Size: Large. Bohrmol stands roughly 8 feet at the shoulder, snout-to-tailtip length is about 14 feet.

Body Type: Humanoid
Ear Type: Default
Skin Type: Ore skin. Bohrmol most closely resembles a golem leupak, but rather than being a solid creature made of stone, its skin consists of a layer of pure plutonium ore. Inside its body, heat and pressure softens this ore, affording it a greater measure of movement than it appears to be capable of. Despite this, it is still extremely heavy, cracking the ground (and, more often, the floor) wherever it walks.
Body Color/Pattern: Sooty, heavily tarnished silver. Bohrmol's rocky skin oxidizes in air, but only in a thin surface layer. Any scrape or strong movement cracks and smudges this layer, showing the lighter color underneath.
Underbelly Color/Pattern: Pale bronze, though this also becomes tarnished to a darker, matte color.
Eye Type/Color: Molten eyes. These glow with the same intense heat as its facet. Bohrmol's eyes are constantly 'weeping' a steady stream of its thick, metallic venom.
Extra Accent Colors: Its claws are a matte charcoal grey, consistently darker than its skin. The inside of Bohrmol's mouth and nostrils, along with its tongue, are a brilliant orange, glowing with their own heat.
Ornaments: None.

Mutations
Gene Mods: Hulking - Bohrmol is a massive, intimidating leupak.
Venom Mods: Contact poison - Bohrmol's metallic silver venom is tainted with the plutonium in its body, making it not only highly toxic, but also highly radioactive.
Tongue Mutation: None/Default.
Spine Mutation: Bubble spine - The plutonium ore has amassed in numerous spherical, bubble-like shapes running down Bohrmol's spine. These are solid concretions, though they can be chipped off. If they are, they will slowly grow back.

Bonus Mutation 1: Cracked - Bohrmol's skin can occasionally crack under pressure. This does not harm it, though it may become a danger if the crack is too deep to properly coat with natural oil - see below. Nothing comes out of these cracks, though one can see the bright silver color of the exposed ore inside them.
Bonus Mutation 2: Crocodilian head - though not as long as an actual crocodile's, Bohrmol's snout is longer and more narrow than the 'average' leupak's.
Bonus Mutation 3: Inner furnace; Bohrmol quite literally radiates heat. It can control this heat to some extent, and can cause its skin to flare to dangerous temperatures - even to the point of self-ignition, if necessary, though it is loathe to do so due to the difficulty of putting itself out afterwards. Normally it is pleasantly warm to the touch... if one were foolhardy enough to touch it without protection.

Notes: When divided into flakes or powder, plutonium ore can easily and spontaneously ignite. Contact with water exacerbates this flaking. As a result, Bohrmol has never bathed, and is kept out of humid conditions as best as possible. Its natural oil seems to keep the element relatively inert - at least in the sense that it doesn't explode. Bohrmol must supplement its own oil with bottles more in order to keep the powder film on its skin from igniting - or causing it to go critical. Criticality events have only occured twice in Bohrmol's life; once when it was a quaggy, and again during the recent dreambeast attacks. During these events it released an enormous amount of radiation, killing several docs and sickening dozens more.

Biography: Within recent decades, scientists have been making great strides in understanding the natural world around them. Part of this process is studying rocks and elements, and one of the most fascinating has turned out to be a rather unremarkable-looking metallic ore. When it was discovered this substance gave off a form of energy, the scientific community was intrigued - until it became clear this energy was lethal to living creatures, at which time most decided it wasn't worth the risk to study it further.

This is of course where the Silent Rose comes in and turns it into a living parasite.

It wasn't their first thought, of course. Tests were being done on its toxicity, its effects on plants and animals, gauging its energy output and devising ways of harnessing it. One certain Rose, being very good friends with a Leupak geneticist, posited an idea: Instead of having to scrape small amounts of this stuff from the earth, why not make a living mass of it, one that can follow orders and demonstrate by its very existence the properties of this element?

Thus, U94-Bohrmol - named after the scientist who spawned his thought - was created.

Bohrmol is strictly SRO property, rarely let out of its lead-lined quarters and never off Rose grounds. The majority of its life has been spent as a specimen for controlled experiments. Most often it is used in dosage experimentation - kept in a room with a subject (often a humanoid) for varying lengths of time, in order to gauge lethal limits of radiation. Occasionally pieces are chipped from it for shipping to other labs across Dreamsong, for various uses.

Bohrmol itself is rather stoic, rarely speaking unless spoken to. Having known no other life beyond that of experimentation it is very accepting, tame, and highly disciplined. It is well aware of just how dangerous it is, having seen dozens of subjects wither away and die in its presence. It has no sense of guilt, however, understanding that this is what it was created to do in the name of scientific progress. When it is not being utilized, it is most often reading books of all genre - it's most fond of poetry and philosophy. Recently its handlers have relaxed in their treatment of it, and allowed visitors. They must keep behind a thick pane of specially-treated glass and speak through intercom, however. Bohrmol relishes interacting with students and docs; unfortunately it is an awkward conversationalist, having few social skills and a voice like grinding metal.

Eye Type/Color: Default, subtly iridescent iris: May appear gold or green depending on environment

Bonus Mutation 2: Hands
Bio: Alazine’s egg was laid shortly after Summer Courting Day, hosted by a chimaera who was (understandably) apprehensive about having a parasite planted in his body, only to be cut out a few weeks later. He spent most of this time distracting himself with memories of the festivities, and Alazine hatched with a decidedly courtly concept.
She is patterned in Courting colors, and has some features, such as her horns and spikes, that bring to mind an erosion dragon. Her facet power is reminiscent of their shape shifting abilities.
Still only a quaggy, Alazine is sweet natured an affectionate, with a tendency to cuddle up on complete strangers’ laps and fall asleep. She has yet to meet a person she dislikes. Her parents are trying to break her of the habit of planting sloppy, venom-laden kisses on everyone she meets.

This leupak is built like a large manitee, with frills like that of the lion fish, and stripes of the clown fish. It's body can secrete a defensive liquid - like a weak miratoxin - that wards away predators (though not many exist for a creature like this, since it is so massive). It hides out in coral reefs, but at times will surface out of curiosity over land creatures. This aquatic leupak is able to swim, and at times walk on land with it's two large front flipper/arms, using it's fanned tail as propulsion; the movement reminiscent of a giant seal. It only has two limbs, situated on the upper body, while the lower 'legs' have devolved in to small fins.

Concept: Clownfish/Lionfish
Facet Type: Default [Rounded oval, black with an orange sheen.]
Facet Power: Pulse

Cosmetic Basics
Size: 12'
Body Type: Storybook
Head Type: Blunted, Frilled. [Short snout, almost nonexistant; frill sits around jowels loosely.]
Ear Type: Aquatic [Small circle behind the eye that detects vibrations that then translate to communication.]
Skin Type: Amphibian Skin
Body Color/Pattern: Solid and bright orange with a band of white on the neck, behind the shoulder, and down the 'tail' that then fans out at the end of the tail. The white stripes are outlined in thin black lines as well, so that they stand out.
Underbelly Color/Pattern: White streak with speckled white where the underbelly merges with the stripes.
Eye Type/Color: Staring Eyes [Black]
Extra Accent Colors: N/A
Ornaments: Mane [Along the shoulders, lower back, and along the tail, there is a finlike mane that takes on the colors of the body, but fades from the bright orange to black at the tips. There are only three of these fins/mane segments and they get progressively smaller as they reach the tail.]

It's not clear whether it identifies itself with any particular gender, or even if it understands the whole gender idea... the scientists who chose it as an object of research refer to it fondly as a "she". Wherever they got that idea! It might be the perverse logic of a "Venus fly trap" plant name...

The name given to the leupak is naturally a combination of "trap" and "nightmare". Imagine.

Concept: carnivorous plant-Leupak.

The Facet
Concept: Confuse the food!
Facet Type: Third Eye Facet; positioned between the real eyes, slightly smaller.
Facet Power: Distortion Facet. If attacked or startled, Trapmare uses the facet power to confuse and torment the opponent - then it either devours him or swiftly retreats (if the foe is too big to be eaten).

Cosmetic Basics
Size: average (~2,5m)
Body Type: default
Ear Type: Cat Ear; small and thick.
Skin Type: less flexible than average, scales aren't visible; wrinkles slightly, i.e. around the mouths when they open.
Body Color: lush green
Underbelly Color: same as body
Eye Type/Color: Staring Eyes of circular shape and red color.
Extra Accent Colors: red pawpads, red eartips, red inside of mouths.
Ornaments: N/A

Mutations:
- head: Stitched Maw; opened only when really needed. Trapmarey saves energy by not doing any unnecessary movements. If the food chooses to approach it from the front, however, it doesn't need to be told twice...
- tongue: Maw Tongue. Green tongue color, red inside of the maw.
- spine: Toothy - small, sparse, pointy teeth, red inside. An additional tongue - pink and sticky - shoots out sometimes with dizzying speed to catch a bird or bat flying by. Its tip functions as a suction cup. The mawlike opening oozes reddish, semi-transparent liquid, the smell of which attracts flying (and other) prey. Trapmare also has some red spikes, running from its forehead to the back of the neck.
- tail: split into two parts in form of jaws, the movement of which is directed by the leupak's will. The jaws are made of dark green, rubbery skin and are red and very sensitive to touch on the inside. Their edges are lined with sharp teeth. With this maw Trapmare devours larger, walking prey. The jaws are rather elastic and can close succesfully on animals up to the size of a small boar. This mouth also has fragrant saliva, which draws small herbivores and carnivores alike.
- body: Maws: as a final carnivorous touch, Trapmare has four additional mouths, located on the limbs, one per each. They're not entirely symmetrical. These serve mostly for catching insects - when other prey is scarce, in amounts significant enough to keep the leupak strong enough to change its hunting spot.
- Genetic Modifiers: mute. Trapmare just likes to sit around perfectly still, and alone. It utters no sounds and generally behaves rather plant-like, except for the carnivorous instincts. There is some debate whether the "Stunted Intelligence" would apply as well, as a more general description of its intellectual abilities; however, no one yet had enough courage to check whether Trapmare isn't really a great thinker in disguise - the discussion on how this could be done without risking somebody's life is pending - and this specimen is interesting enough to continue investigation and not to judge it rashly.
- Venom Modifiers: numbing toxin. Used as a last resort, if the food doesn't want to walk, fly or fall into one of the maws all by itself, and Trapmare is really, really hungry. Black venom color.


A very simple depiction, made by a researcher, who was brave enough to follow Trapmare's movements and observe its behaviour for a few days (from the safe position on a sturdy tree branch beyond the range of its maws or sight, of course.)

Name: Rej-025
Concept: Runaway Experiment Leupak

Rej-025, formerly known as 24256681, came to life in a SRO laboratory.
Not everything went right, however.
When its creators saw the results of the new, experimental mutation processes, the termination of 24256681 was swiftly decided. It was transferred to the "Rejected " register, under its new name, which marked its death - Rej-025.
What the lab workers never thought about was the poor creature's intelligence, sensitivity and will to live. Suffice it to say, the doctor who approached Rej-025 with a syringe was able to tell the tale only a month later, when he woke up from a coma. The last thing he remembered was the limbless leupak lunging at him - but what a funny memory! He must have just slipped and hit his head on the floor. After all, mindless, limbless experiments do not jump from the operation table and attack people! How ridiculous.

Rej-025 escaped through the sewers was never seen by its creators again.

But it found its home.

The Facet
Concept: Underwater communication
Facet Type: oval-shaped, glows brightly in yellow; Displaced - located on the front of lower part of the neck, near chest.
Facet Power: Pulse Facet. Rej-025 is by all means fit to living underwater, and that's where it finds its peace and refuge. Eager to communicate, it uses its facet to "speak" to such creatures as dolphins or otters.

Cosmetic Basics
Size: average (2m)
Body Type: Serpentine; when on dry land, crawls like a caterpillar. Very agile underwater.
Ear Type: Ribbon. Ears are transparent and very delicate, trailing after Rej-025's head when it swims. Blood vessels and inside parts of ear are clearly visible.
Skin Type: Amphibian skin. Smooth.
Body Color: pale, grayish blue.
Underbelly Color/Pattern: white with irregular, dark grey stripes.
Eye Type/Color: Design Eyes - pupils are star-shaped. Eye color: lilac.
Extra Accent Colors: N/A
Ornaments: a sequence of numbers etched into its tail, indicating its old ID number. The numbers are yellow and glow in the dark.

Mutations:
- tongue: default type, two fingers with black claws. The tongue is transparent - almost invisible when extended underwater to catch unwary prey.
- spine: smooth-backed
- limbs: limbless: missing both arms and legs.
- tail: longer and more powerful than average, good for swimming
- body: gills - rather small, pink in color; quills - three on each side of the body, near the base of the tail. Quills are spear-shaped and flexible; the ones near the tail are smaller than the first ones. Their tips are striped black and yellow, and are toxic.
- venom: mild, of grey color.

Concept: Kraken (giant calamari/octopus)
Facet Type: Pearlescent & Displaced Facet (is placed on the belly of the leupak)
Facet Power: Pulse Facet.

Cosmetic Basics
Size: 10,23 m long.
Body Type: Default
Ear Type: Fin ear
Skin Type: Canvas skin
Body Color/Pattern: Was originally a pale grey blue, but turned white and clear of patterns (since became a Canvas Skin Type).
Underbelly Color/Pattern: Was originally a dark grey blue but turned white and clear of any pattern.
Eye Type/Color(can be separated for each eye): Default yellow eyes with horizontal pupils.
Extra Accent Colors (Claws, Pawpads, Spines, Eartips, etc): None
Ornaments: None.

Bio : "Deep Sea" is a leupak that was employed as an experiment in some laboratory. At first he was what we could call a "normal" leupak, the standard or basic one, without any abnormal feature or malformation. Since he was little, strange men observed him daily and did many tests on his body. He didn't knew what they were doing, but for a while, he didn't mind. He played around with other leupaks who were in the same laboratory as him, unconscious of what was happening. It's later on that he noticed some changes in his life and on himself. Friends or companions he could play with were fewer and he was let out less and less. Also, his body was changing, maybe due to the strange liquids and pills the scientists were giving him. His tongue-claw no longer had any fingers, instead turning into some kind of black leech. His back spines had once fallen, never to grow back, his skin became paler each day, and he was getting bigger and bigger as time passed. It's around this time also that the laboratory began more tests on him. Tests that weren't very pleasant and that caused the test subject to lose his voice.

The leupak began then to grow a silent anger toward the ones who practiced such experiments on him. As it accumulated, the rage built in him the desire to escape the lab. When he decided to act, he no longer look like the average leupak, having grown four other limbs that had soon mutated into tentacles and being able to change the color and patterns of his skin. He knocked out the scientists on a daily checkup and ran away as fast as his big body could support him. When he got out of the building, he searched for a place where he could hide. A place where no one could find him easily. He first thought about a forest, but concluded that he would be easily found since he was so big and that big beings made a lot of noise in forests. A desert wasn't any better as he would die of starvation pretty fast. He last thought of a water place, which he found pretty attracting. He didn't knew if he could breath under water, but didn't care about trying. In the end, all that mattered was not to be caught and brought back in the labs. He still walked a lot, feeding himself on wild animals, before finding some kind of sea to plunge in. Look at the dark water, the mutated leupak was afraid to drown for a moment. He wasn't so sure that he wanted to try and see. But then he thought that he wouldn't go to deep, that he'd stay close to the surface. Then he plunged, totally immersing himself in water. He padded nervously , waiting if he'd run out of air. He never did. After a good ten minutes, he tried to sail deeper. The light was getting farther and farther, and he didn't liked it. But it was necessary wasn't it ? He had to get away.

Then without even thinking about it, he began to live in the depths of this sea, hunting fishes to nourish himself. He grew bigger and bigger, and the remainder of his normal limbs mutated too in tentacles. His life was pretty easy, since he became agile in water and could change his skin pattern to approach his preys without being seen. Scientists came to look for him at some point, but or they never came across him, or they died after took care of them, paralyzing them with the power of his Facet, maybe to devour them.

(the Leupak itself considers it’s gender as “fem-mal-ian” since it can’t – or doesn’t want to – decide for one side. This is probably caused by its twin head mutation. Nevertheless, to make it easier, the Mutopia Labs Team refers to the whole Harshoan as “male”. When considered separately, the Harsha-head looks and behaves more “female”, the Harsho-head more “male”)

Concept: Bollywood
Facet Type: Default Facet combined with Matte Facet on the Harsha-head: A circular dark red dot with rounded surface
Facet Power: Telekinetic Facet (Harshoan uses it mainly to make other beings sing and dance. The ability reaches from influencing a single object through to large groups, which he may direct into simultaneous group dancing)

Size: 1,75 m in length
Body Type: Humanoid (very chubby)

Body Color/Pattern: Harshoan extremely rarely shows his unaltered Canvas skin, which is plain and white. He mostly appears as if wrapped in dyed silken fabrics and foulards, mixing strong colors like pink, orange, green, blue, red, yellow, cyan and so on, braided with golden or gemmed ornaments (and changing the whole mixture whenever he feels like it). The four ribbon ears as well as the three-braided tail always show different colored “cloths”. Only the faces and the extremities differ - they imitate skin-decorated bronzed human skin.

Eye Type/Color: Default eyes - two on each head, iris of a dark, almost black color

Fortunately he lets us stop him in case the target isn’t supposed to be eaten. He usually feels very ashamed afterwards and has to be comforted.”

It displays whatever Luna's third-eye facet sees on it's canvas skin and because of the position of Luna's facet her canvas skin typically displays whatever stars are overhead. In addition, any constellations Luna knows will be showed on her Canvas skin provided that the stars needed are already being displayed on her body.

Name: Sampi (named for his facet)

Concept:
Shadows
Facet Type: Displaced, shaped – this facet appears on the back of the right front paw in the shape of the lower case obsolete Greek letter Sampi (in the image it is the letter on the right)
Facet Power: Shadow Facet


Cosmetic Basics
Size:
Sampi is a rather small leupak only about 4’4’
Body Type: Default Body, I could not find quite the right type, so I will describe it here. Sampi is a quadruped with rather muscular limbs and almost no claws. He is built like this so that he can sneak about quickly and unheard
Ear Type: Multi-ear, there are three ears each about 3” long and come to a point. They go down the side of the head in a somewhat vertical line that follows the curve of the skull
Skin Type: Removable skin, it can be used as a decoy in a tight spot.
Body Color/Pattern: The main color of Sampi is black, to help him hide when he does not wish to be seen. Except for his tail, his entire body is a shiny black. Now his tail is a different matter, it is horizontally striped, alternating black, the same as the rest of his body, and a dark purple that in dim light looks the same as the black color.
Underbelly Color/Pattern: His underbelly is a dark gray, an almost slate gray that at the top fades into the black of his main body.
Eye Type/Color: Multi-eyes, Sampi has just two eyes, but each eye has two pupils with individual irises. The secod iris/pupil is one third the size of the main iris/pupil and it overlaps the bottom far side (away from the middle of the face) of the main iris. The smaller iris/pupils are adapted for night vision so that he can always see. All of the irises are a striking amethyst color with a small ring of black around the outer edge of each iris.
Ornaments: Jewel ornaments, these ornaments are on the back of each paw, except for the paw that has his facet. They are in the same shape and size as the facet. They are used in case of trouble as dummy facets so that Sampi will be able to escape fights without having his facet damaged.

Mutations
Gene Mods:
Melanistic, as said before he is black.
Venom Mods: Contact Poison, this poision is not an immediate weapon. It takes time to kill, normally 3-5 hours depending on the amount.
Tongue Mutation: Whip tongue- aside from the teeth and venom this is Sampi’s only real weapon.
Spine Mutation: Sampi’s spine mutation is that his back is rounded with no protrusions. In other words, no spines or anything.

Bonus Mutation 1: Sampi has a shadow body mutation. This allows him to not cast a shadow and absorb all light near him. However this makes him hate sunlight and be a rather nocturnal leupak.


Bio:
Sampi is a Shardborne Leupak created with only one purpose in mind, "information gathering". A rather paranoid scientist created him one day after he decided that all his co-workers were stealing secrets and experiments from him. After Sampi used his abilities, very good hearing, night vision, melding with the shadows, and sneaking around silently, it was discovered that his creator’s paranoia was justified. Sadly his creator’s co-workers were no very happy and he did not hang around for much longer. Ever since then Sampi has found work spying on certain groups for an undisclosed orginazation.

Bio
One of our newer members of the weather forecast branch is Giro. He has been designed as our very own special weather leupak who predicts future atmospheric conditions and has been given to us as a gift by kind scientists. Despite his unfortunate blindness, his predictions are strongly accurate and have thus far, always been correct. He is a very reliable source and we may even be thinking of debuting him on national television as an official weather broadcaster ..

if we didn't always lose him.

Giro is a mysterious case that has always arisen our curiosity. He's always overusing his powers to his advantage. His black coat, conceals himself from us in the dark shadows of night. By morning, he is teleporting to various kinds of places. Maybe the scientists had made him too unique, too cunning. Size: Medium, measuring 6 feet long and 11 inches wide. 3 feet, height wise.
Body Type: Arboreal/Humanoid Body - Is thin and long, he has the structure of a panther. Intead of being limited to the amount of time he can walk on his hind legs, he is capable of walking on them most of the time and is usually seen doing so. He has long claws that help him to climb up to the highest of trees.
Ear Type: Cat Ear
Skin Type: Default Skin but extrememly scaley.
Body Color/Pattern: All black. Sometimes, in moonlight or sun, you can see it's skin reflect a purple shimmer.

In fact, if you happen upon two Divaleups sizing each other up, they'll try to outdo one another with complex braids in their tails. You might like to know that other species, should they encounter such a sight, sometimes adopt the winner's design into a hairstyle -- provided that the species witnessing it has hair to begin with.

Bio
Divaleups enjoy bursting out into song, regardless of whether or not those around them appreciate their style of music. That said, there has been a few times when a traveling Divaleup would be run off due to their love for singing of inane things by the locals. Occasionally they'll find an audience who appreciates their talents to put several together into a production/play and make a business out of it.
Ignore the 'Do Not Feed' sign and give them something to eat.

Lun is always quiet, mostly because he can’t talk. When he thinks his sister has gone too far with a prank, he’ll make her undo whatever she did, even if it takes days. Lun is very gentle and patient, but because he is with his sister most of the time, he is avoided.

Name: THE CURSED ONE

Concept: a leupak cursed to be a frightening, ghostly form, while remaining gentle at heart.

His real name was erased from his memory by the powerful force he apparently enraged. Now, all his life - or rather existence - is about, is searching for his lost self and the reason for the horrible punishment, as well as who conjured it.

The Facet
Concept: Mind Insight
Facet Type: default: small, circular, semi-transparent (looks like a piece of matte glass)
Facet Power: Amnesia Facet. Stealing memories from other beings is one of the few ways he can search for his forgotten self, as his looks mortify any creature that sees him. The lookout for a glimpse of something meaningful, something that would trigger the recovery of his own mind, has so far been unsuccessful.

Cosmetic Basics
Size: average (2 m)
Body Type: default
Ear Type: Fae Ear (possibly, it's not clear as the ears are basically wisps of smoke)
Skin Type: Wisp Skin - when the leupak walks, it partially turns to smoke.
Body Color: semi-transparent; pale, sickly green.
Underbelly Color/Pattern: N/A
Eye Type/Color: Evil Eyes with white-glowing pupils.
Extra Accent Colors: big black circles on the eyes - make them look even more spooky; black painting on lips in form of a scary, smiling mouth with jagged teeth: in reality, the leupaks mouth is perfectly normal, gaining its horrifying qualities only because of the cursed design. Black accents on paws: a thin black stripe runs vertically on each finger up to the wrists, which are encircled by single black stripes, like bracelets.

Mutations:
- tongue: Snake Tongue - form: black mamba.
- spine: composed of small wisps of smoke, which levitate in fixed places over the leupak's back, slowly changing shape.
- venom: Cursed. Used to torture other creatures when the Cursed One gets really frustrated.

Discreet, skulking at the shadows, trying not to frighten anybody, the Cursed One has a hard life. Or afterlife. But how can he think of "after" if he doesn't have a clue as to what it was like "before"? Who knows how many months... years... ages it will take him to finally find what he seeks and - possibly - gain redemption...

Name: STRADELLO

"Gender": male. Likes to be referred to as "Signor Stradello".

Concept: Stradivarius violin

The Facet
Concept: the base of the instrument
Facet Type: a wooden swirl (scroll) growing out of the top of Stradello's head; it's from this piece that the four strings start.
Facet Power: Pulse Facet. Enables the leupak to play his music on all sound frequencies, and also to better adjust the strings and sound color.

Cosmetic Basics
Size: average - 2,5 m
Body Type: default
Ear Type: Winged Ears - with light, soft feathers; represent lightness and artistic spirit.
Skin Type: default
Body Color: ecru (very light, almost white)
Underbelly Color: same as body
Eye Type/Color: default eyes, cerulean blue
Extra Accent Colors: brown paws (the same shade of brown as the violin, of which more will be told in the Ornaments and Mutations) - the rims of these "shoes" are wavy lines, reminiscent of the violin's shapes. Stradello also has black, rubbery pawpads, that let him stand steadily on the floor, be it wooden or stone, for a long time.

Ornaments: the violin on the leupak's back. Seen from the outside it's a violin-shaped, wood-colored, two-dimensional design on the skin, extending from nose (curved from the base of the nose to the cheek, leaving the eyes out) to the tip of the tail, vertically - more or less less halfway down the leupak's height (ends around the upper parts of limbs).

Four strings come out of the facet and run along the back to the base of the tail. The bridge on which they rest is located in the middle of the spine - it's a wedge-shaped, prefectly polished wooden growth. The tailpiece, where the strings end, is in turn made of hard, black, rubber-like tissue, and fixed in its place at the base of leupak's tail, additionally held in the spot by ornamental, two-dimensional "swirls" growing into the sides of the tail.

On each side of the neck, Stradello has two black pegs with dark gray tips. Directed by his willpower alone, they can turn - simultaneously or one independently of one another - to adjust the strings to perfect alignment.

Mutations:

-tongue & venom: default; brown tongue with three digits and white claws. Purple venom color.

- tail: very long, slim and flexible, easily extended over the back. At the end of the tail a wooden bow is attached, its stick made of the same excellent wood as the bridge and the facet. (Stradello fancies putting griffin hair into the bow, according to him it gives the best sound quality...)

- body: while the outer parts of the violin can be classified as ornaments (even though functional), there wouldn't be any particular music coming out of these without slight modifications of the leupak's anatomy. These are slight indeed: a hollow space under its back, functioning as a soundbox. The cross-section of that cavity, seen from the front, has a shape of a downward crescent. The walls of this empty space are harder than the skin, not really flexible - they resemble a thin layer of wood. The "roof" of the soundbox is the visible back of the leupak; it can be compared to a carapace, as the "real" back, covering the spine, is located underneath it.

As a final touch, on each side of the violin design, at the sides of the camouflaged soundbox, are the fully functional sound holes - as in ordinary violins, each of these has the shape of a horizontal, elongated and stylized letter "S".

Stradello is a real leupak gentleman - and a star, too.
In his youth, he never really understood what purpose do the ornaments on his back serve - until he was found by a Gier orchestra conductor, who made him realize his extraordinariness.
It took him years of exhausting training and practice to develop real skills, but he never even thought of giving up, knowing that this was his only real chance to stay in the cities of the world, among humans and other beings whom he had come to like and appreciate - same as his rather comfortable life.
Thanks to all that transpired, Stradello adopted his new name and personality and gave his first performances, becoming a star almost at an instant. While some SRO doctors have been greedily trying to get hold of him and examine his genetic modifications to make their own ingenious violin-leupaks, Stradello always managed to escape their ambushes, sometimes in quite a spectacular way.

Name: Pollux (PAHL-uks) – His name is from Roman mythology, and means very sweet(but this leupak is anything but sweet).
Gender: Considers self male

The Facet
Concept: Devourer of Children
Facet Type: Needle Facet – resembling a single crystal of rock candy on the top of his head between his ears.
Facet Power: Bestial Facet –Though he has little to no self control over the power of his facet and it activates when he becomes extremely hunger, essentially going crazed with hungry. The facet stays activated until his hunger is satisfied.


Cosmetic Basics
Size: Huge 30’ long

Body Type: Kentaurid Body
Ear Type: Long Ear
Skin Type: Candied Skin–each part of his body has a different kind of confection making up his thick skin.
Body Color/Pattern: Mostly between the colors of Brown, tan and creamy white, depending upon the confection that makes u[ a certain part of his body, since his body is made of more than one.
Underbelly Color/Pattern: A blood red with giant pieces of red and white hard peppermint candy covering over parts of his gummy underbelly.
Eye Type/Color: Molten eyes – His eyes resemble pieces of peppermint candy with swirls of red and white.
Extra Accent Colors: His spikes vary from a brown color to a pinkish red depending on the confection they are made of. Most of his tail is a deep purple color. He also has pink splotches with different colored dots covering parts of the lower part of his body including his last set of forelegs.

Venom Mods: Flavored–His venom completely resembles sweet honey in taste, smell, and in stickiness.

Tongue Mutation: Default tongue–Though it is much longer than the average leupaks tongue, and has a candy cane stripe pattern on it.
Spine Mutation: Default spines–Though the spines on his head and along his lower body and parts of his tail are actually giant crystals of rock candy and the spines down along his back are giant chocolate chip cookies.

Bonus Mutation 1: Extra Limbs– He has an extra set of legs.
Bonus Mutation 2: Whip/Gecko Tail– The tip of his tail if allowed to can grow to great lengths and is made completely of black liquorish, though can also be broken off either by him or by force.
Bonus Mutation 3: Great Maw– He has a second giant mouth that is located on his underbelly just below his first set of forelegs. He mainly uses this mouth to eat, especially his largest of prey. When he wants to use his second mouth he stands up on his back legs with support from the base of his massive tail and then uses his extra long tongue claw to wrap around and ensnare his victim and then drags them into his giant mouth and then immediately swallows them whole.

Extra Information
Appearance:
Head and ears- chocolate; makes it hard to move and has a tendency to crack when he is talking or when he is moving his ears and sometimes even pieces fall off.
Upper body and forearms- Sponge cake; softer and a bit easier to move, though deposits lots of crumbs when he moves.
Middle body and forelegs- Swirled Fudge; soft though sticky, making it hard to move and things have a tendency to stick to this part of his body. He will though take advantage of the stickiness of his forelegs to add extra grip if he tries to hold his prey with them.
Lower body and back legs- Frosted and sprinkled vanilla cake; soft yet firm, there is a little difficulty in moving his back legs and the base of his tail, also has a tendency to deposit a good amount of crumbs
Tip of tail- Black liquorish, in which the tip of can break off, either by force or choice.
He always leaves a trail of crumbs behind wherever he goes and prefers to slither close to the ground because of his difficulties to move most of his limbs and that their pretty stubby and short.

End Notes: How Pollux came to be is a mystery, though his hunger for small children is quite legendary especially during Hallow’s eve when his hunger is at it's greatest and when his control over his facet’s power is also at it's weakest. He especially favors children who are spoiled rotten and who don’t respect their elders. Though, he is not great in the art of surprise since he is a slow mover and leaves a crumb trail wherever he goes, he uses his other special qualities to snare his prey. For one he is covered in all different kinds of confections, that emit a strong sweet aroma that attract his prey to him, then he uses the combination of his long tongue claw and the stickiness of his honey-like venom to ensnare his victim and drags them back into his giant second mouth on his underbelly. His favorite food maybe children, but he also has a sweet tooth; go figure, though it’s important that he eats some sweets every now and then to help regenerate his confectionery skin, since pieces tend to crumble off when he moves around a lot.

There are many rumors on how Pollux may have come into being, though the most popular is that he is a child’s confectionery nightmare come to life. He is solitary and hides during the day and only comes out at night. He keeps hidden knowing that most probably wouldn’t take to his presence well, seeing he is known for eating children. Though, he doesn’t care what others think of him, he only cares for himself, and no one else. Sometimes, if he is not ravenous with hunger, he will take his time and toy with his prey and when he’s not hungry, and bored, he will sometimes hunt and play with his victims like a cat would with a mouse. He doesn’t like being bored, so he plays his little games often since he doesn’t have much of anything else to do.

Facet Power: Fish Facet - He can cause fish to come out from the facet, but this takes a lot of effort, so is only done very rarely. As a result of this power, the facet always smells strongly of fish.

Size: 8’/~2.5m long (average)

Body Type: Humanoid - Or at least upright, kind of pear-shaped body.

Body Color/Pattern: Dull grey black, with a thick wavy stripe of completely black, almost the same color, down his back. There is also a thin orange strip going up the length of each of his ears.
Underbelly Color/Pattern: White, with orange near the top that fades into the rest of the underbelly.
Eye Type/Color: Default. Eyes have black pupils, red-brown irises, off-white sclera, and lids the same color as the body.

Quick Bio: Sphen is a cheerful, very social leupak. He has a very solid and trustworthy personality, though sometimes he is a little on the slow side.

For the first two or three years of his life, Sphen lived in Dreamsong. Then he accidentally boarded a ship to Nox, and got stranded there. For the next 15 years or so he lived with a colony of penguins, unconcerned by their apparent lack of speech and the difference in species between him and the birds. He never actually thought he was a penguin - he just thought that the penguins were leupaks. This may sound strange, but he had only lived in leupak society for a couple of years. Eventually scientist, doing work in the area, came across him. The scientist obviously could tell that Sphen was rather out of place in this environment, and took him to Dreamsong, where he managed to teach Sphen the essentials of modern leupak society, and now, meeting Sphen, you could never tell that the chatty leupak spent almost half his life isolated in Nox.

Needle, taking the form of a 5in spine occasionally used to impale attackers.
Facet Power: Madness. This ability is used greatly when devouring prey, destroying their minds so that they are too muddled and in mental torment to fight back.
Concept: The innocent deaths of those who are caught in war or vicious attacks, and the ghosts they leave behind.

Cosmetic Basics

Large -- 13'5"

Ear Type: Ribbon
Skin Type: Mercury
Body Color/Pattern: A solid, bright ivory hue.
Underbelly Color/Pattern: A red hue marks T'yikar's underside and jaw, very similar to blood in the pattern it's strewn about.
Eye Type/Color: Eyeless
Extra Accent Colors: None
Ornaments: Quilled; what appears to be bursts of feathers around T'yikar's tail and face are, in fact, very fine, barbed quills, similar to those of the porcupine. They are hollow and filled with venom.

Mutations

Gene Mods:
Mute
Venom Mods: Watery Mortoxin, a dark gray in color.

Tongue Mutation:
Snake-tongued -- a two-headed viper, with a white body and black eyes.
Spine Mutation: Burning. An eerie white flame wavers out from this seam, which goes from T'yikar's shoulders to the tip of his tail. It is toxic to inhale, and searing hot to the touch.

Overall Biography:

It is spoken in folk tales that, long ago, after the conclusion of a bloody war, a pale-skinned leupak appeared in a village destroyed by the dispute, wandering the streets like a lost child.
Sometimes, it will stop, notice things that only it seems to believe are there, paw at unseen objects and illusions.
The beast is blind, savage, attacking all that it hears or smells and driving them away from the small town it lives in. If they do not leave, they will be killed or injected with a dose of venom, the dead being devoured swiftly and the survivors being left to fester.

Those who have seen it and lived to tell the tale speak of it to look similar to a spirit, giving off a soft glow that is accompanied by the white fire that ebbs slowly from its back.

Why it is there, if it is truly a ghost or not, the behavior it exhibits.. these things are still questions, but one thing is for sure -- explorers are best advised to stay away from this old, forgotten village, lest they become the prey of the looming beast that some have named the "T'yikar"...

Personality:

The T'yikar is a beast of little emotion, having no words to speak. From what one can gather, it seems to have a childish manner to it, shuffling about uneasily and chasing illusions, as if caught up in its own little world. However, it is very alert and somewhat intelligent, and anybody or anything that is not supposed to be there will be noticed very quickly, even more swiftly attacked or chased away in a feral rage.
It rarely vocalizes, but the few roars and growls it makes are mournful and pained, twisted and undertoned with an unbridled fury.

In short, it has the mentality of a vicious, overprotective child, put into the form of a blinded, monstrous leupak.

Notes: Gasket was created to service machinery and automatons. It lives in a large boiler room beneath a certain large building in the Gier, and sometimes takes commissions in its spare time. Gasket isn’t very talkative, though it will often talk to the machines that it works on. It will get in very intense discussions with other mechanics in the Emery when it visits, talking animatedly and enthusiastically. An indeterminate number of varani occupy its boiler room with it, repaired automatons that it found on walks through the Gier in the evenings.

Vidar, The Bipolar Leupak.

Gender: It's a very confused leupak, so let's just say it's genderless.
Visual: Redoing it...

The Facet

Concept: Pointless
Facet Type: Blink/Rainbow Facet. The eye is blind and can't see. The raindrop shaped facet's color is ever changing to fit the leupak's mood. The lid blinks periodically. It makes a strange pair with Vidar's actual eyes (staring eyes), but Vidar is after all a strange leupak.
Facet Power: Amnesia Facet. Ironically, when the leopak takes the memories away from someone, it gets transported into IT'S brain, which in turn confuses it, and unfortunately is overall a disadvantage. It's believed that this facet may highly contribute to it's bipolarness.


Cosmetic Basics

Size: Medium, very skinny (almost scrawny looking) and at about an average height.
Body Type: Default Body. Walks on all fours, a little awkward and wobbly.
Ear Type: Fae Ear
Skin Type: Canvas
Body Color/Pattern: Changes into an array of patterns and colors depending on its mood. If it's feeling artistic, it's skin can act as the canvas for a beautiful piece of art. In the unfortunate case where (and this has happened before), soon after, it may feel sad, the leupak's dispair washes away all the beautiful colors, paints, and designs into a drooping, smudgy mess. Then, right away it might feel joyful and artistic again and the smudgy mess will rearrange itself into another elaborate work of craftsmanship. Then, the cycle could go on and on, from burning it's art to a crisp, to creating dark, gloomy patterns on its skin. This leupak is unpredictable and random, and the designs we've seen composed on it's skin are endless. It's difficult to even remember them all.
Eye Type/Color(can be separated for each eye): Staring Eyes..*shudders* It's so odd.
Extra Accent Colors (Claws, Pawpads, Spines, Eartips, etc): Again, depends on how it feels.


Mutations
Gene Mods: Venom-Gusher & (slightly) Skeletal. (the venom only works best when the leupak is in an excited or extremely happy mood. Even when it's overly furious or going through a mood swing, the venom can overproduce. This can actually be a great advantage against predators..but unfortunately, for us, it's just a mess.
Venom Mods: Hallucinogen. If you allow youself to even the tiniest dosage of this, you'll go crazy. The bizarre and derranged hallucinations this venom can brew are absurd. Well, what would happen if the leup's in a good mood, you ask? If that's the case, the hallucinations may lead you into a surreal dream world, where everything is just perfect, or is it? It might be a little too perfect, and that itself may drive you mad. So either way, this leupak and it's venom aren't to mess with.

Tongue Mutation: Default Tongue; the tongue is a normal size with about three grasping claws at the tip. The designs on it's tongue can vary from zebra stripes to swirls. These patterns can animate and move.
Spine Mutation: Bony/Oozing/Burning/Default xD. Vidar's spine is incredibly versatile.
It's spine sticks out from underneath it's skin, but not actually poking through.

In the event that the leupak is unbelievably miserable and depressed, the transparent water-like ooze acts as the tears that it's staring eyes can't conceive.

When the leupak is angry it's spine catches on fire. If Vidar is enormously outraged, the whole entire body burns along with the spine.

Short triangular spines that run from the top of his head change color along with whatever mood Vidar may be in.


Bonus Mutations

Tail Mutation: Sticky Tail. The whole ENTIRE tail acts as one long piece of chewed up gum. This tail can be rather inconvenient. Random things like keys, pencils, food, etc. are usually embedded in or protrude out of the tail. But hey, depends on how Vidar may feel. It may feel insecure about it's sticky tail sometimes. Or it may feel playful, and use it's tail as a game to grab anything in it's reach. If it's in an extremely greedy mood, it uses it's tail to sneakily grab money from passers-by.
Head Mutation: It has multiple rows of very tiny but extremely sharp, shark like teeth.


Bio
Vidar was created a long time (many years) ago by a...er clumsy scientist. Well, I wouldn't even really call him a scientist. This 'scientist' was but a mere apprentice eager to create his very first leupak. His teacher had told him over and over that he wasn't ready and needed to train and study more. His teacher was actually quite the genius. The professor had miraculously (for his time) managed to invent the first ' leupak - creating ' machine and what is now known as today as a legendary lost wonder.

Anyway the impatient and hard-headed apprentice disregarded his professor's constant warnings and went on to create Vidar behind his back..

What happened in the lab that day is a sort of amusing tale..

The noob apprentice started getting excited as he was about to create his leupak. He eagerly rolled up the sleeves of his white lab coat and proceeded to press a button..
and then another
and another...?
and then some MORE..

He really got carried away.

& suddenly

KABOOOM! the leupak - creating machine exploded. All the remains had perished, all except for that one leupak tube. The foolish amateur scientist sat there in a daze, clutching the tube as he watched his professor's pride and joy burn up in flames. The apprentice's teacher was outraged from what he had come back to and banned his student from ever coming to the lab again. The professor had managed to take the tube away from him and scared the apprentice off. The amateur scientist was never seen again after that day.

Vidar, however grew from the tube as this " awkward, scrawny looking son of a gun " (as quoted by the professor). The professor raised Vidar as his own, the only thing he had left of his prized invention. Vidar was quite a handful and how the professor managed to care for him all on his own is a mystery. Unfortunately soon after Vidar had grown into his adult stage, still as bizarre and moody as ever, the professor had passed from old age. Vidar was eventually handed down to us to watch after.

Concept: Dreams of Flight
Facet Type: Displaced (chest), Shaped (Diamond), Matte. Color is blue-black.
Facet Power: Dragon. (Element is air. Can temporarily manipulate air currents that are close by, usually within 15 to 20 feet. Can also be used defensively to blow adversaries away, in this case can extend for about 40 feet in a focused stream, lasting for about ten seconds, and strong enough to stun.)

Cosmetic Basics
Size: Medium (6 feet long, roughly three feet at the shoulder)


Body Type: Default
Ear Type: Default
Skin Type: Default
Body Color/Pattern: A deep sky blue on the top, shading gradually down to the belly color on the extremities.(Muzzle, ears, tail, legs, tips of the wing vanes/fingers.)
Underbelly Color/Pattern: Pale, almost white blue, speckled with darker blue flecks.
Eye Type/Color(can be separated for each eye): A pale ice blue.
Extra Accent Colors (Claws, Pawpads, Spines, Eartips, etc): Feathers ornamental are bright blue that fades on the tips to a lighter version. Functional Wings are ice blue. Pawpads are a deep blue-black. Claws are ivory white. Ornamental wings are a light grey.
Ornaments: Feather (on the back of his elbows, from the back of his head, down his spine to about halfway down his tail), Wings. (bird like, mostly down, but with some small flight feathers. Placed above and behind his hindlegs, almost on his tail.)

Bonus Mutation 2: Functional Wings (replaces Extra Limbs. Located above and a little behind forelimbs, and dragonlike in form)
Bonus Mutation 3: Dragon Tail (triangular)

Background: Aerin was created by a scientist who enjoyed frequent dreams of flight, only to awake to find herself still incapable of flight. She created Aerin in the hopes of having a mount to ride, only to create a leupak much smaller and more harmless than hoped for. Aerin can fly; though only just: Between his functional and decorative wings, he can achieve just enough lift to rise a short distance off the ground, and lumbering flight. He can go higher using his facet power, controlling the air currrents to help him rise higher for a maximum of five minutes. He can carry small objects in his forepaws, and so acted as a courier for his creator, up until the point the creator finally achieved her dream of a leupak who could carry her in flight, at which point he was released from his duties and 'set free' to live where he pleased.

He is rather awkward in flight, never achieving a fast speed or agility unless aided by his facet power, but he's proud of his ability to fly, even if it's not that good. He's very friendly, and has even tried to keep small pets, though all thus far had either died, or he had been forced to leave behind. He can often be found nursing injured animals back to health, using his mild venom to sedate them and numb the wounds. He's a little "energetic" (Read: hyper) sometimes, usually coinciding with his happiest moments, and when he is, he often flits around the sky, using his power to perform acrobatic stunts for whomever might be watching. He is fairly intelligent, and enjoys learning whenever and whatever he can.

In terms of physical appearance, he is fairly slim, with a slightly elongated muzzle, though still recognized as the default muzzle. His two sets of wings rest just behind and above the joints for the lower limbs. His forepaws are fairly dexterous. His tail spade is a long triangle shape and fairly large, as well as flexible, to aid steering in flight. His tail is roughly half his body length.

Concept: Origami; the thousand origami cranes or senbazuru
Facet Type: Painted facet - literally a tiny daub of black ink on Zhuravli's forehead.
Facet Power: Wish facet - a variant on the Dream facet, it might better be called a "waking dream facet". Zhuravli's power lets him manifest a vision of a person's dearest wish to them for a short time, with all the intensity of a waking, lucid dream. He cannot do so without their permission or full attention, and it saps his energy intensely.

Cosmetic Basics
Size: Very small for a leupak, very large for origami - 6" at the shoulder and a foot long.
Body Type: Storybook, quadrupedal but comfortable with sitting upright for long periods.
Ear Type: Default
Skin Type: Paper skin - a variant from the Canvas skin family, though in this case, Zhuravli is literally a leupak made of folded paper and come alive. He is resistant to crushing or crumpling, as he will spring back to his folded shape once he's let go, but you could very easily wreak havoc on him with a pair of scissors. Similarly, he'd go up like tinder in a fire, and water makes his eyes and facet runny and would eventually cause him to get moldy and dissolve if he wasn't dried out quickly. He's also quite light, despite having the typical round body shape; stiff breezes topple him right over and windstorms will carry him for miles if he doesn't hold on to something. On the plus side, he can collapse his width entirely along the axis of his spine, allowing him to slip through very tight spaces or hide between the pages of a book.
Body Color/Pattern: Like canvas-skins, Zhuravli's "default" coloration is a blank white; in fact, he was folded originally from plain white paper. While he can assume any color, pattern, or design he chooses, he typically adopts a marbled look of metallic gold on a burgundy or maroon ground.
Underbelly Color/Pattern: Typically pale blush pink, with lines drawn in darker pink where scales would be on an ordinary leupak.
Eye Type/Color: "Default" - like his facet, they are simply two drops of black ink.

Gene Mods: Pygmy
Venom Mods: Mild - also slightly thicker than usual and the color of book paste. It can be used as glue for porous substances such as wood, fabric, and paper.

Tongue Mutation: Default tongue, two claws - Zhuravli's tongue appears to be a thin ribbon of paper, forked like a snake's tongue with a tiny hook on either fork (the claw). Its coloration varies on his own colors at the time, though he's fond of making it look "surprising"--lime green with black stripes is a favorite in his usual coloration, and he'll color the inside of his mouth brilliant green to match.

There is a folk-tale of an eccentric artist who lives in the mountains of northern Dreamsong, who kept only the company of his wife, their niece, and a flock of folded-paper creations. Every week the niece would venture to market with a basket of tiny paper masterpieces, selling each and every one before returning with food, drink, and fresh paper for her uncle and aunt. Always, people would ask after the reclusive artist; always, the niece would say nothing about his habits, simply smile and pass around another little folded animal or plant.

One winter, a series of terrible storms wracked the mountains and the village below. Many lost their lives, the artist's beloved wife among them. Yet, with the advent of spring, the artist's niece came once more to market with her basket of the artist's creations. This time, though, they were all cranes: For it was said that anyone who could fold a thousand paper cranes would be granted their heart's sincerest desire. At first the villagers accepted the cranes readily, deeply touched by the artist's loss and wish to have his wife return to him. As the year grew old, though, so too did the novelty of the cranes wear thin. Even his niece had begun to tire of the man's ceaseless grieving, and anyone with the wit to count how many baskets of cranes she'd brought to market knew he'd gone well beyond a thousand.

By the last market of autumn, even the niece had had enough. She sold her final basket of cranes at a loss, using that money and what little she had saved to buy enough provisions to see the artist through the winter. She returned to their home in the mountains and announced that she was leaving, departing without giving him a chance to argue and taking with her her own stack of a thousand sheets of paper.

All that winter and the following spring and summer the artist's niece wandered the length and breadth of Valenth, putting her uncle's grief behind her and recording the world's marvels in folded paper. Chimaeras and aeneski, bloodhawks and talstags, Erosions, worgn, pipistrelles, Skids, waterwings; whatever she saw or heard described, she folded, until she had nine-hundred ninety nine paper creatures packed among her meager possessions. The thousandth creation she folded was a tiny, perfect leupak, crafted on the steps of the Cathedral in Laps-du-Ment as the sun set on her last day away from home.

The villagers rejoiced to see her returning the following day, though it was a joy mixed with concern--they had not heard from the artist in his home since she had left. Whether or not his last batch of work had been dreadfully repetitive, it did sell well outside the village and they were nearly out of cranes but for the few they had saved for their own homes. The niece listened to all these concerns, keeping her own collection of creations a secret, then started up the mountainside to meet her uncle in his home.

The house was dark when she arrived. She pushed open the door to find herself knee-deep in folded cranes, and followed the stink of old beer to where the artist had drunk himself to fitful dreams. Irate, the niece shook the artist awake, dumping her nine-hundred ninety and nine creations around his hungover head as he stammered apologies for his state.

"No amount of wishing will bring her back," the niece said, coldly, shoving the tiny leupak into her uncle's hands. "But here are my 'cranes'* with a wish for you. Maybe they will help you survive another winter without me."

She stormed from the house forthwith, never to be seen again in that part of Dreamsong.


The next market day, a new basket of the artist's creations mysteriously appeared in the village square. With it was a note politely requesting a basket of food in return, with a stern warning that "someone" would know if they tried to cheat him, since "someone" would be along to pick the basket up at day's end. Each of the tiny paper creatures in the basket was unique, exquisitely crafted--and never before seen by any of the amazed villagers, except for the tiny paper leupak that seemed to be smiling to itself as they passed the other creations around.

At the end of the day, no accounting could be made for the little leupak--but someone certainly did pick up the basket of food left in trade for the artist's creations.

*Translator's note: zhuravli means "the cranes" in the mountain dialect spoken where this folk-tale is most commonly heard.

The Facet
Concept: A bottle of ink and the quill to go with it.
Facet Type: Likely a Painted Facet, but if it is, it's always hidden by Remex's ink.
Facet Power: Remex can write without touching a pen or paper as long as there is a surface nearby - it can manifest as graffiti on walls, calligraphy on stationary, shorthand on looseleaf, crude crayon scrawl on construction paper or even perfect Helvetica on a computer screen. Text is always black, and is Remex's sole means of communication.

Cosmetic Basics

Size: 9' (Average)

Body Type: Default
Ear Type: Triangular, doglike, with long, tapered extensions that end in dripping bulbs.
Skin Type: Between Latex and Liquid - something like a very thick tar.
Body Color/Pattern: Matte black
Underbelly Color/Pattern: Cream-colored, not that you can tell.
Eye Type/Color(can be separated for each eye): Staring eyes -bright, grey, and eerily human
Extra Accent Colors (Claws, Pawpads, Spines, Eartips, etc): Earbulbs slowly taper to cream from black

Gene Mods: Melanistic, mute
Venom Mods: Watery. Venom is also a navy blue color, and can in fact be used as ink as well - hypothetically. Nobody is overly eager to try.

Tongue Mutation: Default grey tongue, but the claw at the end, rather disturbingly, has four unique fingerprints.
Spine Mutation: Oozing spine; Black ink constantly flows down Remex's torso, tail, and head. This is Remex's most defining feature - it can produce several hundred gallons of ink per day - luckily, it seems to be able to see through its ink sheath. The quantity and viscosity of the ink changes if Remex becomes dehydrated, eventually slowing to a trickle or stopping altogether in the case of critical dehydration. Don't let it on your good carpet.
Tail Mutation: Dragon Tail; tail flattens into not fleshy diamond-shape but a diamond-shaped fan of cream-colored feathers (although this is hardly relevant - you would have to pluck one and wash the ink off to even be able to tell). It usually drags on the ground, meaning Remex usually leaves a thick black streak behind it wherever it goes - it is really, really bad at Hide and Seek.
Head Mutation: Frilled; frill is made of feathers the same color as the tail and can be flared or folded back. Beaked, also - soft, internal beak.
Limb Mutation: Remex is an odd-toed ungulate, not unlike a rhinoceros or tapir.

Bonus Mutation 1: Absorbing Flesh - important, as Remex has no teeth and simply suffocates its prey and swallows it whole

Bio: Ferdinand came as a surprise to his family: For generations, they had been modestly sized, nimble-fingered individuals with a specialty in aviation. Nobody expected one of their young to hatch into a tiny, living zeppelin.
Now full grown, Ferdinand looks as absurd beside the great airships as he does with his family, but is a surprisingly good stand-in. He is an efficient flier, being exceptionally light and easy to propel even by his smallish wings, but his size makes him susceptible to high winds. He understandably lacks the range and speed of a true zeppelin, but makes a good living as a short-distance courier.
Given his facet abilities and navigational tools, it is nigh impossible for Ferdinand to become lost.

This is hard to explain, so I had to draw something - I hope it helps. That line near the jaw is where the true mouth starts, and it goes downwards along the throat. The draconic spikes are part of the fake skull, except the farthest left one; that is a snaggletooth.

Facet Type: Painted Sigil / Displaced [An X shape made of two question marks - one facing left, one right. Located on the underside of the tail near the two rings of color. The color changes to various oil-patch-rainbow colors when power is in use.]

[About the size of a German Shepherd, with a long snake neck.]
Body Type: Serpentine, but parts look a bit canid. [Bottom legs for instance, slope like that of a German Shepherd, to allow the creature to run quickly. By using it's long tail to balance, it can sit back like a bear on it's rear - helpful for when it opens it's giant mouth.]
Ear Type: Earless ['Hears' via vibration, like a snake.]
Skin Type: Default [Smooth, scaled but velvet to the touch.]

Gene Mods: Gush. [Produces far too much venom and is constantly drooling.]
Venom Mods: Living Miratoxin [Once it leaves the mouth cavity or the false face, it will creep along in search of victims.]

Tongue Mutation: Maw [The tongue is huge, taking up the entire space within it's neck. When the giant mouth opens, out it comes - revealing it's own sharp toothed muzzle at the end.
Spine Mutation: Miracrystal Shards [The spines growing along the back of the head - out of the false one - are made of Miracrystal. They shift in color like the facet, and grow differently all the time. They also break off like horns or antlers and are left behind. Further down the back, near the hips, the spikes start again but they are a lot smaller, and are bright red. These ones stay that way without any need to grow.]

Bonus Mutation 1: Split Tail [At first it is one solid object, but near the end it becomes bifurcated in to two long whip-like structures that can grasp things. It is usually tucked under the body so that the two strands can wrap around the neck, helping to keep the giant throat-mouth closed and to wipe away extra venom when it drools out.]
Bonus Mutation 2: False Head [Where it's natural head would be situated, is really a fake one made of regenerative tissues. It is used to make the leupak look more like a dragon, which adds to the imitation - it can also be used to lure prey closer. The head looks like a dragon skull and is attached at various points, the 'skull' growing out of the leupak's upper jaw where it's small eyes are also located. It shields the two molten eyes as well.]
Bonus Mutation 3: Mouth Mutation [Much like the 'second mouth' mutation, this one has gone a bit father - removing the first one but keeping the second, the more bizarre. Where the false head's jawline is, is where the mouth starts. It reaches all the way down to the creature's chest - able to open and reveal many teeth and a massive tongueclaw. It is hideous and terrifying when fully exposed.]

I hope this is all understandable... This thing took me a couple of days. Maybe I'll get a better example picture done when I'm less sick. :/

The Trebleups: a gig of musical leupaks consisting of four members. They all have two key traits in common:
The Facet
Concept: musical
Facet Type: Shaped facet- resembles a metronome, and functions as one. The trebleups use them to keep in tempo as they play.
Facet Power: Coincidentally, their facets also function as pitch gauges, informing the leupak when their sounds are off-key and thus helping them tune.

Rune Ornaments: these always appear as musical scores somewhere clearly visible on their bodies and appear only when the Trebleups are about to play, lasting until they stop or finish. Like Anom’s runes, they stop shifting as they are read, changing when a “page” needs turning.

Venom Mods: Clarion’s venom serves a similar purpose as lubricating valve oil does in woodwind and brass instruments. The venom itself is colorless.
Tongue Mutation: Her tongue has no claws at the end, instead, there is a flexible ‘bell’ whose size and shape can be manipulated at Clarion’s will. The tongue itself is a dull gold in color.
Spine Mutation: Tubelike structures, golden in color, run along her spine. They resemble and function exactly like trumpet valves.
Bonus Mutation 1: Clarion has a few holes running parallel to her spine-valves. These, in turn, play the roles of keys in flutes, clarinets, saxophones, etc.
In Action:
Clarion can twist her tongue into a myriad of shapes, thus altering the course of air as she blows/exhales through it, creating sound. The valves and keys on her back can be used to manipulate the sound further, however Clarion cannot do this herself. She must be “played” by a humanoid partner (more often than not, an aeneski). Creating music must be carefully synchronized between player and leupak; Clarion controls the air flow while her partner creates the notes- this is greatly helped by Clarion’s ears, which act as a music stand, and sub-sequentially, by her sheet-music ear runes. Clarion also curls and holds her tail in such a way as to allow her partner to sit comfortably whilst playing.

Bio: Artemis is a bodyguard of the Thorne Household. He was appointed to an SRO scientist named Issac. He is extremely loyal to him and will protect him at any costs. They have a rather odd relationship. At times they'll be like the best of friends, but there are moments where Issac will continually scold and insult him. However, this is typically due to Artemis destroying weeks, possibly months of Issac's work while protecting him. For the most part this is because Artemis loses control once he is forced to use his bestial facet. He is rather reserved and is "a leup of few words." Whenever prompted to talk he's straightforward and to the point and never participates in needless conversation. He is rather cold at times particularly to those he looks down upon.

Section Notes: Facet is oval and gem cut. While it is a tan color when not in use, Rudolpho's facet gives off a red light rather then brown.

Cosmetic Basics
Size: Average, 7.5' long
Body Type: Default
Ear Type: Long
Skin Type: Textile, well made.
Body Color/Pattern: Light brown with cream spots placed symetrically on his's back.
Underbelly Color/Pattern: Solid cream
Eye Type/Color: Default, solid black
Extra Accent Colors (Claws, Pawpads, Spines, Eartips, etc): Muzzle is cream with black on the nose area. Ears are cream on the inside. Feet are also black.
Ornaments: Antlers that appear to be made of crystal in the same color as the facet when it is not glowing, with a rough gem cut to them. They can be grown back if broken but it requires a large amount of energy to do so.

Gene Mods: Dry
Venom Mods: Enchanted
Beacuse Rudolpho cannot produce much vemon, he can only enchant objects that are very small, generally no bigger than 5 cubic inches.

Tongue Mutation: Default, three fingers
Spine Mutation: Stitched. Thread is sturdy and thick, dark brown in color.

Bonus Mutation 1: Hooves (Rudolpho's feet look much like overlarge hooves, though they are soft, unlike those found on animals with them by default, and are split into two halves that may move independantly of each other. Writing is near impossible, as is holding most items, though they ensure good footing on almost any terrain)
Bonus Mutation 2: Sticky Tail (sticky pad on the underside of the tip of Rudolpho's tail, about three inches long. As he has trouble holding things, he often uses this pad to carry things.)
Bonus Mutation 3: Fuzz (soft, fur-like feel)

Though he loaths to admit it, Rudolpho was created from a child's thought around the holidays. Unlike his story-tale base, he is very proud and tends to enjoy luring people off into completely random areas with the light from his facet, and then sending rocks to trip them or try and attack their feet. He is rather vain as well, taking great care of his antlers and expending huge amounts of energy to repair them if they so much as chip.
He looks much like an overgrown and rather mishappen reindeer plush but it is a very bad idea to try and treat him as one. He has been know to hold grudges against those who have taken such ideas too far.

Name: Chin-ts'an. His name translates to 'golden silkworm', and he is often referred to as such.

The Facet
Concept: Gu, an ancient poison sorcery and form of necromancy.
Facet Type: Blink/Glow facet
Facet Power: Soul facet. Chin-ts'an relishes the devouring of souls as it strengthens the power of his morte-infused poisons. (He also claims they are delectable.)

Cosmetic Basics
Size: Average, roughly 10 feet long and slung low to the ground.

Body Type: Serpentine
Ear Type: Internal; pits in place of external ears.
Skin Type: Hive skin. Chin-ts'an's lumpy skin is riddled with holes, out of which crawl, fly, and slither swarms of venomous insects. There are all kinds, but predomanant are spiders, centipedes, scorpions, and wasps.
Body Color/Pattern: A light grey tinged with blue, the ghoulish color of zombified flesh.
Underbelly Color/Pattern: Jarringly enough compared to his body, Chin-ts'an's belly is covered with large golden scales that never seem to tarnish.
Eye Type/Color: Evil eye; His cat-like pupils glow yellow.
Extra Accent Colors: The greyish color of his skin grows darker at his limbs and snout. His long claws are golden, and the spines on his back are charcoal. His tail ornament, tongue, and pawpads are dark red, rimmed with black. Upon the palm and sole of each pawpad is inscribed in gold the sigil of Gu.
Ornaments: A large arrowhead-shaped growth on his tail, much like that of an imp's.

Mutations
Gene Mods: Mute; Chin-ts'an's mouthparts make him incapable of speech. His only vocalizations are chittering and hissing, though he can 'speak' telepathically to anyone in his presence.
Venom Mods: Mortoxin; His unctuous black venom's potency is enhanced if he has recently fed upon a soul. Even more disturbing are the numerous maggots that fester within it - they are constantly falling out of his mouth.
Tongue Mutation: Default; two fingers
Spine Mutation: Smokestack; Large fleshy lumps run down Chin-ts'an's spine, out of which hollow spines belch forth poisonous black miasma. He can control the amount, even stopping it completely for short periods of time - if held for too long, it would build up within him, causing him to inflate to bursting.

Bonus Mutation 1: Pincer maw; fleshy mandibles, tipped with fangs. Chin-ts'an's head is also much narrower than the usual leupak, taking on a more snake-like appearance.

Bonus Mutation 3: Container; The larger of his hiveskin holes can be used to hold objects, if one doesn't mind bugs crawling all over them. Chin-ts'an in fact uses this to his advantage, hiding valuables inside himself which are then handily protected by his swarms.

Biography: The sorcery of Gu is many thousands of years old, and its method is simple. Into a specially-prepared jar go dozens of venomous insects, along with the occasional viper. The jar is sealed, and the creatures attack each other until only one remains. The poison and morte of each is concentrated into this survivor, who is said to take on a golden hue; symbolically, it is the Golden Silkworm, a being said to be capable of bringing its owner enormous wealth, as well as producing a lethal poison.

Chin-ts'an is the embodiment of Gu. Brought forth from the union of a necromancer and a twisted leupak, he is a truly horrifying beast to behold. The stench of death emanates from his fleshy hide as it crawls with vermin... and he enjoys nothing more than swallowing souls.

When he was a quaggy he was kept by a cabal of necromancers, milked for his mortoxin and the poisons of his swarms. Once he became large enough, Chin-ts'an decided he had quite enough of being used, and devoured them all. He became a wild leupak, stalking the woods of Dreamsong for prey. No gig will have him, and most intelligent beings give him a wide berth, which is just the way he likes it. To necromancers and various creatures of morte, however, he is in high demand. The location of his lair is a well-kept secret - a cavern in mirajin-crystal woodlands that connects to an underground lake. His lair appears plain on the outside, but the inner chamber is dripping with opulence... and vermin. He has become both a mercenary and an apothecarist, hired to kill or paid to give his toxins. Occasionally, he may be bribed into training a neophyte mage, as he has extensive knowledge of dark magic. This is a tenuous alliance at best, as he is known for having a terrible temper and propensity for eating those who displease him. Besides souls, he is fond of eating silk. Often his skills are paid for in bolts of fine silk, or in baubles made of gold, which he is fond of collecting.

Chin-ts'an is a fiercely solitary leupak, preferring to stay inside his cavern. He treats his swarms as treasured pets, and derives great pleasure from capturing bats for them to tear apart and eat. As he has grown older, his lust for hunting has waned, and now he has servants to bring his meals to him - these are most often mage-apprentices or vampires, who are paid in knowledge and blood, respectively.

Floating in the liquid between the two skins, tiny, delicate pink and light blue flowers can be seen, swaying slightly with the movement of the liquid. Thin, vibrant green vines grow from the blossoms and attach themselves with miniscule suctions to the main skin, securing the flowers and spreading them evenly on the skin, though still letting the runes show through. The underbelly of Lys is a pale pastel green with fewer flowers and no runes. Her eyes are emerald green, and their irises of the deepest midnight blue. The spines growing out of her back are also olive green, and- due to Lys's Sylvan mutation- the same thin vines that grow in the skin's liquid grow around the spines, circling each individual spine and often blooming one or two pink or blue flowers in the process. Lys has five tails, each possessing the same qualities as the rest of her skin. The Sylvan mutation also grows a ring of vines, this time not so delicate, around Lys's neck, and, hanging at the base of her neck is a large purple flower. The Sylvan mutation takes place in no other parts of Lys, but if the vegetation breaks off she can regrow it. In addition, a seed pocket is located at the base of her tails, and any of the tails can easily reach it.

Bio: Lys is a peaceful, plant-loving creature and likes nothing more than to roam the forest, observing all vegetation and occasionally prodding a flower or plant to see what she can grow with her Blooming Facet. She likes to think of the plants she grows, and often mutates, as a sort of project, and pursues this activity avidly. She is slimmer than most leupaks and slightly faster, and moves quite gracefully. Though naturally nonviolent, if attacked, Lys will defend herself and even attack back; she is adept at using her whiptongue and fangs, and her tails also come in handy during battle.

He sure is some uncommon guy, we’re still wondering what weird scientist's mind came up with these strange mutation ideas, but he for sure must have had a crush for this type of game. Matty fully accepts his purpose; he even tends to get in a depressive mood unless at least one chess game has taken place once a day. He wanders around and offers the game to all that are living around the Mutopia Labs and usually has no problems to find willing players. He is of a peacefully character and doesn’t like disputes and conflicts around him. Actually he uses to interrupt arguing parties, asking them to play a round of chess and solving their struggles that way. He also is always helpfully at our disposal in case we need to use his judgment power, which allows him to make someone tell the plain truth.”

Facet Power: Dragon; the doctor attempted to give F-05 a breath weapon like that of the boralion dragons but it ended up being firebreath instead.

Cosmetic Basics
Size: A little bigger than the average leupak so he's around 12 feet in length. However, he's underweight for his size.
Body Type: Default; long and relatively low center of gravity.
Ear Type: Fan ears; normally kept down and closer to the head, making them harder to see at times.
Skin Type: Dragon-skinned
Body Color/Pattern: F-05 is primarily a deep indigo.
Underbelly Color/Pattern: The underbelly has more of a reddish hue to it.
Eye Type/Color: The left eye molten and gold in color, however the right eye is missing completely.
Extra Accent Colors Towards his hands/feet, the indigo grows darker to be almost black. His claws resemble steel in color.
Ornaments: Jewels; in several parts of his body, small jewels mimicking the crystals of the boralion dragons had formed.

Bonus Mutation 2: Using the extra limbs above... Skeletal wings; Forming functional wings didn't quite happen as these sickly appendages grew instead. The right wing is considerably smaller than the left and both are primarily skeletal in appearance. however, bits of muscle, skin, and membrane are attached here and there, giving it a little more of a gruesome appearance. He is able to move them slightly, but not much.
Bonus Mutation 3: Slashing claws

Backstory:
A young scientist by the name of Verito is one that is madly fascinated with the Boralion Dragonflight, as well as Dr. Dreamscar in general. He wanted to make a tribute by attempting to create a Leupak in the image of the dragons themselves. Worked hard Verito did to do this feat, but his beginnings were very... very rough. His first four attempts were horribly disfigured and died fairly soon after their birth. His fifth attempt survived, but the Leupak only vaguely resembled the great dragons. His mutations were still rather horrific, namely the wings, and he seemed rather malnourished from the start. While Verito raised this one, he still saw him nothing more as another failure, only referring to the Leupak as "F-05". F-05 does what he can to try and gain the approval of Verito or anyone else he comes in contact with, but many are put off by his appearance. As years went by, Verito did manage to create the Leupak of his dreams, using F-05 as a reminder of what might happen should he fail again. Meanwhile, F-05 grew up being constantly reminded he was simply a mistake, and grew to resent both the doctor and the Boralion dragons he was fanatic for. One day, F-05 overheard the doctor telling another that because of this, he would be thrown out now that he had no use in the laboratory.

Angered at the idea of this, F-05 immediately sought out the young Leupak to slay it. Upon finding it, he soon found that he could not bring it upon himself to murder the beta. After all, it wasn't its fault for what had happened to him. With his rage quelling, a different idea came about, one that would harm the doctor in a much deeper way. He ransacked the laboratory, and cast his flaming breath down onto the precious bits of data the room held. While the lab burned, he took the young Leupak and fled. Considering how the doctor was, the young Leupak's life would likely be seen nothing more than a trophy anyway if he were to remain.

Miream, unlike F-05, is much more of a success in terms of being created to look like a boralion. Doctor Verito had slaved away for years getting a leupak to appear as he desired. Miream does not have many memories of the times he was in the laboratory, seeing how the place was destroyed soon after his birth. He sees F-05 as a father of sorts, and currently the two are trying to see if there is an alternative name to call the disfigured leupak. Being less tormented and still very much young, he is much more optimistic and cheery than the older one.

Facet Type: Glow, yellow; the brightness can be controlled. Neyak cannot see in the dark, so his facet is used to light up his surroundings like a flashlight.
Facet Power: Telepathic; used to relay his findings and reports to his superiors.

Cosmetic Basics

Size:
Average; 7'5"

Body Type:
Saurian
Ear Type: Cat-earred
Skin Type: Titanium. He is limber to the point that he can coil up if the shaft he is working in collapses (digging his way out to safety soon afterwards), but that's the best he can stretch when it comes to movement.
The only truly flexible thing about him is his silver-with-black-spots tongueclaw, to be honest!
Body Color/Pattern: Light gray, marked all over with blotches of bronze
Underbelly Color/Pattern: Dark gray
Eye Type/Color: Staring -- they are covered by transparent, colorless scales to protect his eyes from dust and debris. Bright red with yellow pupils.
Extra Accent Colors: The steel plates on his head, neck, face and back are all crested with basic, simple silver marks.
Ornaments: Horns; two very thick, sharp gray horns emerge from Neyak's head, on either side of his facet, and they are often used alongside his claws and venom to erode away rock. They are curled forwards and about 3 feet long.

Bonus Mutation 1:

Bonus Mutation 2: Digging Claws; his forepaws have blunted, large claws used primarily for digging through rock. They appear to be made of a diamond-like substance, similar to Boralion claws.

Dragon Tail, with the tip of his tail deeply resembling a pickaxe.
Bonus Mutation 4: Pockets; they are found on Neyak's shoulders, haunches and belly, used to store the precious ores and jewels that he is tasked to find. They close with what appear to be metal thorns.

Endurable Lungs; he can easily breathe in dusty or toxic air without being affected, as the offending airborne debris is spewed out from two round pores on his back.

Bio: Kerris is a strange leupak. She dislikes to hurt living creatures, but will eagerly defend her forests. She loves nature, and will never hurt it. Some villages n the outskirts of Geir will talk of a strange, green creature that kills all woodcutters. Sometimes, when it spits, the stonesand sticks themselves rise up to drive them of. Ever since she came, new plants have been sprouting up left and right.

Kerris has been on the move for a long time. Everytime she moves to a new forrest, the locals drive her off in a year. She dreams that she could settle in a forest permanently, but for the time being, that will remain a dream.

Section Notes: Multak uses his facet to share his fears and nightmares. Because he has multiple personalities, he feels overwhelmed. His victims are usually unwilling and their fear is heightened by watching Multak's facet blink at them like a third eye. This relieves the fear Multak has, and lets him know his fears are not just his own.

Cosmetic Basics
Size: Roughly 6 feet tall

Body Type: Saurian
Ear Type: Split (all three heads)
Skin Type: Spiny (some spines do have venom in them and he can raise them at will to look more threatening) Number - many, they are tightly clustered. Ones with venom are the color of normal leupak venom.
Body Color/Pattern: Skin base is a grey color, with tan on top of it. A white line separates the black belly from the the tan, and segments the belly. The grey color can be seen on the lower jaw and bottom tip of the tail. Along the spine is a dark red which starts from the base of his neck, to the base of his tail. The red and tan are mottled looking. The extra two heads have the same coloring.
Underbelly Color/Pattern: Black with white lines segmenting it and another separating it from the other colors.
Eye Type/Color: Default, blue
Extra Accent Colors (Claws, Pawpads, Spines, Eartips, etc): Claws are bone colored, pawpads are black, spines vary from shades of black to brown, the top ear split is black and the bottom slpit is grey, tongue claw is a pinkish color with the regular venom color.
Section Notes: The mottled effect of the tan goes to the belly, but does not meet it., and two streaks of the mottled tan/dark red form a crisscross on his chest similar to that of a straight jacket. His tongueclaw just has three digits with curved claws.

Section Notes: Multak can raise the spikes up and down to look larger. He mostly keeps them flat on his back when he is in his home.

Bio: Multak has had multiple personalities since the beginning. When his parent leupak chose a host, they were unaware that the chosen host had more than one personality. It seems that the leupak only witnessed one.

Multak's extras heads have no names, as he views them as extensions of himself and each has their own fears. Each does have their own personality, but ultimately are controlled by Multak when he as a use for them, other than that he lets them do what they will. The two are mute, but Multak can hear them in his head. Just so he has something to call them, he calls them Left and Right.

He uses his venom only when Left and Right overwhelm him with their arguing, or when all three are startled and he does not know how to react. Right will latch onto whomever, or whatever, startled them and Left will copy the motion. Multak will then inject his venom with his tongueclaw, or his tail stinger.

Personality:
Multak - Very defensive of himself, he does not like others taunting or ridiculing him. He defends himself by trying to look bigger than he is by raising his body and back spikes. He will try to talk himself down from action however, not wanting to give in to this right head who would just love to attack. He fears losing control of the extra heads. The fear is heightened when the two begin to bicker with one another. This cannot happen though, because he can control them when he wants.

Right head - Is the aggressive one, he was the protector that the host had. When Multak responds to his fear, a surprise, or one of the other heads’ fears, the right is always the first to lash out and latch onto the offender. From there, Multak will use his venom and facet power to let the fear flow into the offender. The right head tends to act cocky at times, and glares at others around them, daring them to approach and try something. Not friendly at all and Multak must keep an eye on him. The Right’s main fear is trusting others, which leads to Multak’s paranoia and wary behavior towards others.

Eye Type/Color: Default, red

Left head - The left head is the more friendly one, he was the one that the parent leupak met. He has a calm composure and would do most of the talking. He tends to be submissive in some situations when he feels he cannot talk his way out. Now though, he shares Multak’s need to release some of the fears and feelings that well up in him and tries to instruct Multak in how to lure others within striking range. But because he would rather lure someone, than jump to the attack, Left is often attacked verbally by Right. The Left fears having no one around (Multak and Right do not count).

Bio
Purlus is a strange creature. He is houselord of House Blank, a house that consists entirely of pure white leupaks. They have no goal in life but to multiply and be fruitful. They typically stay in forests, waiting for prey to come along.

Purlus has a favorite method of catching prey. First, he sits on his tail. Then, he removes his legs and head, and holds it in front of him. When the Humans come near, at first, all they see is a white, pear shaped object balancing on it’s tail. As soon as they are close enough, Purlus shoots out his tongueclaw, and injects them with eggs. Then he reassembles himself, and goes off to the next hunting ground.

Description: A matted oval-shaped gem with rounded surface located in the middle of Rex's chest that is just a shade lighter than the fur located there, thus giving others an impression that Rex is a venomborne leupak unless they look closer. Rex's facet allows him to become invisible for a short period of time. This is usually used when he needs to hide.

Bonus Mutation 2: Fuzz; Rex's body is covered with fur-like fuzz that can be divided into two layers. The outer layer is stiff and long, and are coloured in shades of grey and brown. There is also the dense, softer and longer under fur, which helps to keep Rex warm during cold days.

A bit of info: Rex is generally timid in nature, preferring to hide and flee instead of stay and fight. He will not use his venom unless when absolutely necessary, and prefer to solve disputes via peaceful means, that is, if he ever finds himself in one.

Bio: Lake leupacks inhabit the swampy areas, but despite its proximity to water - bad swim long distances. Due to their mass, they are always ready to protect themselves and their relatives from other beasts. Red stripes and bright-colored horns warned of the danger of the enemy.
They are curious and unrestrained, to satisfy curiosity, they are ready to go at all - to enter the dwelling or steal interesting thing. Lake leupaki beautiful and agile.
Lake Leupaks have horns, in the case the red horns perform signaling functions. The rotation of the head, on which there are 2 red horns drew attention.
Large claws are helping to search food as well as defensive. Their strength is not so great, but the skill can strike a blow from which to attack from their side end
Lake leupacks live in families. They live ~56 years, and prefer to start a family in 10 years.
But..First of all, they are peace-loving and never attack first.

My third entry (oh goodness! This will probably be the last... for a while, anyway). :D Bonus points if you can figure out the significance of this fellow's name. It is rather geeky. :P

Name: Jeol Amray

The Facet: None, Jeol is venomborne, but his concept is microscopes.

Cosmetic Basics
Size: Average, approximately 9 feet long and 4 feet high at the shoulder.
Body Type: Default
Ear Type: Split. Upper and lower lobes are sharp-edged and very reflective, being made of polished mirrored glass. They are so sharp that they may cut the skin if touched. Jeol has learned how to use these mirror-ears to his advantage; by rotating his ears at just the right angle (the lobes can move independently of each other) he can collect ambient light and reflect it to a desired point. This trick, in addition to helping him see, may also temporarily blind or confuse an enemy.
Skin Type: Default
Body Color/Pattern: Entire body is a very dark (almost black), smooth metallic gray.
Underbelly Color/Pattern: Same color as the rest of the body, but the belly is overlaid with irregularly-sized, rounded scales made of polished clear glass. It does not hurt him to remove these scales—in fact, Jeol sheds them frequently as others grow to take their place. With very little modification, each scale makes a perfect magnifying or focusing lens, and no two are exactly alike. Jeol now makes his living by selling these scales to engineers, makers of eyeglasses, or any other person wanting extra optical glass.
Eye Type/Color(can be separated for each eye): Stalk/Mechanical eyes: Jeol has three eyes, fashioned from metal and glass like the objective lenses of a simple light microscope, and arranged in a circle in the middle of his face. These eyes can swivel clockwise or counter-clockwise, and can also be extended or withdrawn, to focus objects with remarkable microscopic resolution. However, he is extremely nearsighted, and cannot resolve objects at any distance further than six inches.
Extra Accent Colors (Claws, Pawpads, Spines, Eartips, etc): Pawpads are dull iron-gray, claws are a shiny steel color, mirror-bright and reflective like the ears.
Ornaments: None.

Mutations

Gene Mods: None.
Venom Mods: Glow—venom glows bright white, but only in the dark. This is useful in helping Jeol find his way at night, or examining specimens when there is no other light source. During the day or in brightly-lit places, the venom is a viscous, translucent white.
Tail Mutation: Gazing tail—there is a single bright blue eye at the end of the tail, which blinks periodically. As a human, Jeol had blue eyes; this gazing tail is the last visible vestige of his former humanity. The eye itself is perfectly functional, but rather weak, and it is difficult for him to flex his tail enough to see in all directions. Jeol has considered making a contact lens for his nearsighted eyeball, but has not had any success so far in growing a suitable glass scale.
Tongue Mutation: Tendril—the tongue tip takes the form of a very fine, retractable needle. This needle is precise but fragile: Jeol cannot use it for indiscriminate fighting (he usually keeps it retracted at all times), but he can use it for careful, controlled injection of specimens, or to manipulate tiny objects on a microscope slide, etc. The tongue itself is a dirty beige color, with dull, thin black stripes.
Spine Mutation: Oozing—Jeol produces an unusual amount of skin oil, and most of it seeps slowly from a seam along his spine. An enterprising type, even after his painful mutation, he has taken to collecting this oil in small bottles, selling most of it and keeping the rest for his own work. The stuff proves very useful for keeping machine parts oiled and also for oil-immersion microscope slides.

Bonus Mutation: Bubbles—there are five large clear bubbles in Jeol’s skin, two on each side (but not quite symmetrical) and one in his chest. He uses them to hold small specimens while he works, and depending on his needs, he can change the substance stored in each one. Usually they are air- or water-filled, but he always keeps one bubble filled with preservation-grade alcohol, or some other toxic preserving fluid.

Biography: As a human, Jeol worked as a microscopist for a major optical company. Dour, haughty and friendless, Jeol was nonetheless an exemplary worker, spending almost every waking moment with his machines and working tirelessly to produce a better microscope. But his laboratory-bound life was completely changed during the fearful Dreamkin Rampage, when a band of the crazed leupaks broke into the factory late at night. With the exception of the night-guards, Jeol was the only worker present at such an hour, and by some miracle, only Jeol was not killed in the attack. However, the venom left in his body caused a slow, agonizing and frightening mutation into a microscope-eyed leupak. For months, Jeol was devastated over what had happened to him, and for the first time in his life, knew true fear. How could he continue the only work he ever knew? He had no friends, no family to offer aid. As time went on, and he struggled to master his new body, he gradually learned how to open up to others… just a little. He is still very resentful of leupaks and tends to dislike everybody, but he must admit—his new form gave him just a small degree of confidence (and profitability) that he lacked before.
