..I just love leupaks, and the fact that they can be based on anything is one of the reasons that they're awesome..

Uh, guys, just a gentle note--entries are supposed to be entirely new, not anything you've already posted in the Hatchery. :) I noticed several of the leups I'd seen there reposted in the contest thread; much as I'd love to see Aequorea illustrated by DNA, I can't reuse her now that I've posted her.

I know that I probably read this earlier when Deo posted it but May we just post concepts and not the Illustrations?

I do not have a pen or tablet for my computer and am not good at drawing leupaks. :(

I've noticed the same thing.. about the entries being the same as the ones in the Hatchery as the ones being submitted for the contest. =/

No visual accompaniment is necessary at all, and when given will not sway the vote.

My gosh! I want to win this so bad... The prizes are sooo... *grabby hands*

I posted a finished concept in the official contest thread for this but now... I feel very "unconfident" ((apparently that is not a word :( )).

It is so hard to come up with a completely unique idea and OH I want to win a Clockwork Boralion so badly... It just makes this harder LOL

If you just submit a picture, your entry will be disqualified for not following the rules. ;)

And it's fine if we use someone else's outline to color since it's not part of the contest anyway? As long as the artist allows it of course.

Gah, I wished I hadn't let myself gotten in to creating my very first Leupak ever at all. Now it is in the hatchery and I can't use it for this contest :(

In case I improve and extend the ideas I had on that one and make another one out of it, will that be acceptable?

I've been putting all of mine in the same post to keep them organized. I didn't want to have to look all over the thread for each individual leup whenever I had an update (like an image or an aspect I forgot to mention). I would assume it's all right to go either way since nothing has been said on the matter.

Mutations, yes. Facet powers and other stuff she doesn't say outright, but I'm pretty sure that's a yes too.

I never thought that could be wrong O.o I edited my posts already... adding another concept, fixing a link, a typo, etc... this can't really matter, right? I mean, so long as no one edits their post after the contest deadline, heh :P But there is the info when the post was last edited, so I don't think this could stay hidden...
